Its two hours into the new year here now. Im already home and drunk as a fuck. I hope you all a happy new year and wish that you all manage to fullfill your goals for 2006.

You are a quirky bunch and you are funny as fuck, and I have learned a hell of a lot from you bastards. Hopefully that means that I will become one big strong mean fucker this year.

So peace out and lift heavy!

I am staying home tonight, for various reasons.

My goals for 06? To get some meets in again finally, work on my ability as a competitor not just a lifter, improve my overall strength and size and also add a little bit of conditioning to my regime.

I want to make it happen this year. By this summer I want not only a big PR total, but I want to be heavier as well as more muscular than I've ever been.

I have the body and the tools to do all of that, the question is will I be able to dig deep enough to find that diehard whitehot desire that turns me into a lifting machine.

Happy New Year! I've coined '06 as 'The Year of The Beast' (not Bob Sapp). My goal is to be a 225 pound 'beast' by the end of June. I figure at 5'10 you can only put on so much lean mass naturally. If I can reach the mass/bulk goal, I'll work on refining it a bit from there.

turky and eggs in stupid large amounts, not quite sure what a big guy like you takes to fuel.

but i think cleaning up your eating habits while maintaining nessesary cal per day to keep growing will be your main ticket to your goals. this will not only decrease your recovery time, but also convert your body fat to usefull muscle and if you continue with higher cal per day, you will add weight as well.

i'm starting a list for myself, but it could use some more items for variety

Well 2005 went out like shit, I could barely drink as I was coughing up a lung (probably bronchitis though I hope it's just a bad-ass cold). So only 1 bottle of champaign this year, for some reason I love the stuff and a normal year is three bottles. I just feared drinking too much when I'm coughing into a sink, all my throat needs now is puking a carbinated alcohol.

At least I got to take the wife over to the Art Museum for the Egypt Display before it leaves town. They even had a life-sized granite hottie if you can get past the fact that Sekhmet has a male lion's face...

I too would like to send out props to good posters on this forum. I learned quiet a bit the months I was just lurking and since joining I've learned more. I've converted to the S&P way, I'm down to one machine (for abs), one little gimmick (sleeves used for hanging leg raises) and the rest is barbells at the squat station or dumbells.

Happy New Year guys! I lifted yesterday morning, did my burpees, felt pretty fucking good. Ended up hitting the family New Year party (cuz the food is always good) ate a shitload of roast beef and chicken, drank a case of beer, and went home and gave "it" to the wife. I felt like a fucking viking, a chinese/irish/scottish/native indian VIKING!!!

New years resolution? No more internet porn!

    Happy new year to all.

This year will see me becoming scarily strong and ripping opponents limbs off with a combination of sheer brute strength and viscous Sombo (well thats's the plan).

I'd like to take this oppurtunity to thank all of you for educating me in strength training over the latter half of this last year, its made a huge difference to my training and is much appreciated.

If looking at "krelliks big book of history" I cleary see that the chinese/irish/scottish/native indian VIKING warrior was one of the most fierce. Clearly up there with the famous berserkers..;)

(and judging by your scotish/irish blood it is far from unlikely that you actually have some viking blood in you, Dublin for instance was founded by vikings..)

Edit: And yeah your indian blood can mean viking heritage to, since the vikings came to you to..
(and the vikings did come to Turkey and pretty far east into Russia (named from viking "Rus" warriors), but I dont think they came as far east as China though..)

Chinese/Irish is a bad mix though, I really like to drink but I just can't hold my booze! Thanks for the history lesson though, I never knew that about irish/native indian heritages.

True, we are the fiercest of them all! :D

Gee, I hope I can transform more of my useless mass into that there useful muscle, because obviously I've got way too much useless fat on my legs making me squat 700lbs.
