Because it's not Gaza. Gaza isn't a country. Palestine isn't a country. It doesn't have any legitimate autonomy. It hasn't even controlled its own water supply for decades.

In many cases they haven't even bothered, they've just gone straight to the 'but international doctrine allows us to do this' stage.

Now that the US is sanctioning Israeli forces for their part in the illegal annexations and over-the-top hostility and unfairness in the West Bank, all of that is - AT LONG LAST - starting to unravel.
