I know you weren't asking me... but I have never found a place unsafe. I'm curious to hear his answer. Been to Mexico, Nicaragua, belize, DR, Guatemala, chile, Argentina, guyana, Costa Rica, south africa you name it and all were good. Guyana and Nicaragua were likely the poorest but it's just what situation you put yourself. Nicaragua was the only one that had soldiers on the streets with guns in the capital but it was still no big deal.
