Had Bisping fougth Romero as he should have and likely loose

GSP would have lost to Whittaker, Romero, Rockhold, Souza, and Mousasi.

GSP would have beaten Weidman in 2017, however he would have lost to Weidman if they had fought any time from 2011 to 2015.

GSP would have beaten 42 year old Anderson Silva in 2017.

GSP vs Brunson would have been a toss up.

GSP would have beaten Branch and everyone ranked below him.
Anderson nope there is a reason why he ducked him for years bud <BC1>

Styles make fights, there's a reason GSP came back for Bisping and not Usman or Khabib.
Reason was Khabib wanted to fight at 155 against old as fuck GSP, he didn't even accepted 165
He was pretty happy with his striking heavy division so he never wanted to test him against good wrestlers. GSP and WW wrestlers were way too scary for him. GSP and Khabib are the biggest opportunists

yep your absolutly right

well is not like Serra had bricks for hands he s only had 2 tko finishes and 1 of them was gsp

GSP was always chinny but landing clean on GSP isnt easy and his recovery was always great. I dont see Usman landing his right hand on George clean enough for a KO if they fight 10x Usman wins 2/10 I think

Weidman already got the better of GSP in training. Romero was more dangerous standing than Weidman and the better wrestler. No way, GSP is calculated. Rockhold would be easier match-up than Yoel.
Garbrandt got the best of TJ in training, and we all saw how that changed in a real fight.

I'm a big Romero fan and agree that he beats Bisping.

But, I actually think GSP had a fairly decent shot at beating Romero. I could see a scenario where GSP just moves around, keeps it on the feet, and jabs Romero to a decision W. Of course there's always the possibility of Romero exploding and connecting the big KO shot. But don't underestimate GSP's gameplanning and ability to execute the gameplan perfectly in the cage. He could definitely pull off a win.

Wrestling is different. Like with Tito and Chuck. Chuck already knew before the fight started. Then there's the size difference between GSP and Ma Boi.

I think Romero is over-appreciated, had the Jacare fight got judged correctly, I'm not sure he would have ever even fought for a title. He is too passive and found most of his success against guys who exited their prime.

edit: I should have said exiting their prime...

Bisping isnt Jacare in terms of grappling though and his main weakness I would say is guys with power and decent technique, he could avoid pure brawlers like Leben but guys like Wand and Hendo he didnt have the power to keep them off of him.

He handled the power of Cung Le and Brian Stann, I think Bisping is the type to beat some guys with a ton of power and lose to others. He is catchable and not a GOAT, but he can fight with the best of them on any given night. Just not consecutive nights, time in and time out.

Romero is more fearsome than the version of wand bisping fougth tougth

Romero was at his peak in the UFC and I was positive Bisping wasn't going to fight him. I was also sure about GSP not defending despite dumdum sherdoggers repeating it's in his contract to defend.

In the end it was a smart move by Micheal bisping not to fight yoel. Well almost, then he fought Kelvin lol

I wouldnt say Cung typically had much power in his hands though Franklin KO withstanding and Stann was I think more towards the brawler category rather than being reasonably technical with power.

I'd say Bisping had good movement that was enough to beat your Lebens and your Stanns but guys who could chase him down he didnt really have the consistent power to keep them off of him.

Also I think why he matched up well with Anderson who by that time was mostly a counter fighter and gave Bisping the time/space he preffers.
