WTF are you talking about? That was one of the worst beatdowns of all time. He both knocked shogun out and submitted him. He crushed him.EDIT:
Even Shogun's loss to Jones gets exeggerated to hell and back
Shogun landed some.good right leads and 1-2s on the feet. Shogun got up from Jones 1st TD and took Jones back multiple times by side stepping/slipping a majority of Jones' spinning attacks
That fight was simply a ground domination where Jones used his immense strength and size advantages to hold Shogun down and beat him up with ground and pound
Plus Shogun coming off surgery was not in shape and gassed out. Plus Shogun taking the fight on short notice didnt have time to develop a gameplan or any plan Bs
Thats why Sogun kept trying for the same sweep and kept making little errors like droping for a leg after taking Jones back despite it not working the 1st time. Shogun just didnt have time to prepare for any plan Bs
A healthy prepared Shogun would have 100% done A LOT BETTER against Jones.
Rampage was fighting very competitively with Jones. Shogun absolutely could have too
The Shogun who fought Jones was simply Shogun at HIS WORST. Health and gameplans are everything. Shogun with both couldve beaten Jones that night.
Jones could drink a fifth, snort a line, and crash his car and still destroy shogun. He is a bug to him.
