No I remember a lot of people shitting on Gus for the way he beat Thiago Silva and then Shogun by decision. Saying he runs too much and does too much lateral movement. Not something the fans want = prolly wont happen. Still was a good fight.

Gus clearly won the fight, it was competitive the first 2 rounds. 3rd round was the only dominant round.

It wasnt a blow out at all. Shogun won round 2...and round 1 couldve really gone either way. Under the 10 point round by round scoring system Shogun very well couldve edged Gus out regardless of the fact Shogun lost round 3 big. Those first 2 rounds.

Shogun doesnt get the credit he deserves. When he losses Its always some bullshit like "Shogun was blown out" or when Shogun dominates "Shogun wasnt really that dominant. Close fight"

Anyway, NO...Shogun vs Gus 2 should not happen...ever. Its a pointless fight. Shogun deserves either warm up fights or legend fights from here on out

Ugh, not quite. The first two rounds were very competitive and it wasnt till the third round that Gus dominated the fight. You need to watch the fight again.

My friend that doesnt prove anything showing the scores. Rounds can be close and still scored 10-9. Look at Khabib/RDA 30-27, Khabib/Tibau 30-27, JDS/Miocic 49-46.

Right now its not a fight they would make. Gus is still a title contender regardless of his recent record and I believe the UFC will set him up with Rashad Evans or Ryan Bader ,a close to top 5 guy to get him in line for another shot at Jones or Cormier or a Rumble rematch.

Shogun right now is ranked #7 and not too far off but he's not considered in the title picture. He's coming of a nice win over Rogerio but he needs to get another solid W.

This fight could happen if Gus loses again and Shogun wins his next fight.
