My guess is that both Gus and Jones are probably 6'4, but due to American measurement system being stupid it can still differ quite much if one guy is barely 6'4 and the other guy is almost 6'5. And from Jones/Gus photos I am quite confident that the difference is less than 1 inch, so both can be 6'3 even.

Like I said, one inch is quite much. I don't think it differs more than 2cm between Jones and Gus which is LESS than a inch. Both can be 6'3, or both can be 6'4.

maybe Gus stands on his tiptoes when taking photos & JJ stands flat footed. I stand on my tiptops out of a weird habit, i think because i'm used to standing in the back of group photos. Anybody else do that??

People have evidence that Gus is 6'3"ish, Gus is standing next to a 6' 4" guy and he's slightly shorter. Gus himself says he's 6'3". All Reem user has is an old picture of himself where he is standing next to Gus and is significantly shorter but claiming to be the shortest 6'0" kid in the world...

Chandler Jones is listed at 6'5, Arthur at 6'3. Those are NFL listed heights. They are BOTH taller than Jon, unquestionably. I can buy Gus being 6'3, even if on the high end of that 3rd inch.

He's from a country that uses the metric system, though. Imagine being in Sweden and having someone ask how many centimeters you are. Even if you've been there for a while, you might forget the exact conversion.

UFC needs to stop using inches imo, because the metric system is more detailed and easier imo, you can 2 people who are 6"2(weidman vs Anderson for example) but one of them is taller because hes really close to 6"3 while the other is just above 6"1 .
they should also measure each fighter's height and reach after the weigh in imo, so we can avoid 6"1 Hendo, 5"11 Anderson and 6"5 Carwin.

Gus is not 6 foot 3. In Sweden last year- before his fight against Thiago Silva, Gus was interviewed and he was said he is slightly taller than 6 foot 4. Maybe he shrunk one inch, but i doubt that.

At about 1:10 the interviewer asks Jones and Gus their height, Jones says 6'4 and Gus says he's 6'3.

Alex is from Sweden. We have a different metric system here. He might be wrong.
