what is your remedy for gun violence? How about you shut about gun control when you don't want to do what is actually needed to stop the majority of gun violence.

Haven't seen this posted anywhere else so I thought this would be a good place to put it. Don't see it succeeding, but still interesting.

Listen to this fool . . . home visits . . . yeah right.
It wouldn't be what the dems are proposing, ie. banning specific weapon models used in just 3% of shootings.
Personally I'd be for extremely strict restrictions on handguns (similar to machine guns), and raising the age to purchase or possess a gun to 25yo. Let people keep their AR's and 30rd mags, so they can perform their 2A duty if the situation ever called for it.
Does this mean my ar is now my daily carry and no ones gonna even blink when I walk into Kroger looking like a gi joe guy ?
I am not a huge gun rights guy but part of me feels like regulating further access is just a band-aid solution for a deeper problem.
You should buy yourself a Glock for your 21st B-Day. And really, just about any striker-fired polymer pistol from a reputable manufacturer will do at this point. Glock is to striker-fired pistols like Kleenex is to tissue paper.
I actually used to hate them, @Gutter Chris. I thought I'd be a 357 Magmum man for life, but I eventually gave in. The design, durability, and ease of operation of them is undeniably and utterly ingenious. The added capacity certainly doesn't hurt either.
I came into the game on a glock 21 and a s and w 629 . Loved that .44 and it's probably a huge reason I became a 10mm guy. Non glocks feel super odd to me and I feel like if you are going to trust your life to something it should be what you are most familiar with. Love the 21 and do carry it in the fall and winter alot.
I should get myself a glock 20 at some point.
I have a S&W Shield Plus and I really like it. Had the Ruger LCP Max for a pocket pistol and it felt pretty cheap. Sold that and got the new S&W Bodyguard 2.0. Feels like an ultra mini Shield and it is fun to shoot. Of course it's only 380, but I like the shit out of that little thing.Damn, you carry heavy. My daily used to be a Ruger SP101 pocket rocket. @My Spot claims Glock has been surpassed by S&W, at least in the realm of sub-compacts and I'm inclined to take his word for it -- not only because I simply trust him, but because I copped a twin set of cheap little Stoeger STR subbies for 400 bucks just to fuck around and have fun with. I've been shocked by the ergonomics, performance, and overall quality of them compared to the G26. It's not superior, but they can hang for a fraction of the price. I'm almost at the point where I'd actually trust one with my life.
Well there's absolutely nothing wrong with still buying Glock. But S&W's M&P line has been proven just as reliable by now and are typically $50 to $75 cheaper (M&P Shield Plus vs 43X, for example). Also Glock should be ashamed for still using plastic sights. I think the stock trigger is better too but obviously that's subjective.Damn, you carry heavy.
