Tank was using fake plates during that video.

I'm a powerlifting competitor so I know Cro Cop had a few training sessions with Srele Brutal Team powerlifting club in Croatia and he benched 170kg (375) touch and go (with no pause on chest, but touching the chest with the bar.
In powerlifting circles that is not impressive for his bodyweight, but being a fighter it's certanly good.

An elite bench would be 2 x bw bench RAW and more.

I bet if any of those guys actually tried to get their bench up, they would push substantially more than that. Except for Tank. He obviously worked hard on his bench.

Hey, I saw in a training video that khabib can bench 380lbs !

Well that would be pretty sick, I bench 400 in 205 class, and I train powerlifting and I'm on that Jon Jones supplements

The best fighters on that list tend to have the lower benches.

That means I must be a real tough guy with my 100lb lifts

Reem only 330? LOL I can bench that and his arms are twice the size of mine.

Some of those actually do seem rather low. I mean, you'd be expected to have substantially higher numbers than that, relative to BW, for most, if not all, positions as a starting NCAA Div 1 football player. But then again, they're training for a fight sport that requires many varied types of strength and explosive power along with speed and movement ability. And on top of that requires technical training in wrestling, BJJ, boxing, Muay Thai and separate training to combine them. And continually looking to master each of these forms individually can be a lifetime's worth of work. I would imagine for BJJ specialists, the ones who just train to be World Champs and red and black belts and just center their careers around that, the numbers relative to BW would be significantly less.

Lmao bench means fuck all.
Military press, deadlifts and squats are the real functional type muscle building lifts. These lifts measure tfue strength. Not bench.

I am pretty sure these aren't real numbers. I've benched 335 and I know im not as strong as some of those guys on the list

lol..I'm a featherweight that benches 225 lbs but I still get owned by a guy experienced in sambo/bjj for 8 years that can't even bench a 100lbs
