Long enough to know that Goodridge is no top 10how long have you been apart of the sport?
You just proved my point, Coleman really...? That one dimensional man, and Randleman... Those are your killer wins?Coleman (x2), Randleman , Hunt, Sylvia, Arlovksi. Are you not counting Sylvia and Arlovski because they weren’t part of “his reign”? Schilt and Herring before he was champ. And he wasn’t eking out razor thin decisions. He dominated Nog (twice), finished Coleman twice, tapped Randleman in 2 mins, tapped Hunt, beat Sylvia in 36 seconds, KOed Arlovski in Rd 1.
If you want to think Jones is the GOAT, that’s your business. But what you’re saying about Fedor’s run is ridiculous.
Ohhh...I see what this conversation is gonna be...sorry but this is a waste of time. You just proved my point, Coleman really...? That one dimensional man, and Randleman... Those are your killer wins?
Arlovski on a 4 fight losing streak is a great win...
Sylvia went on a 1-4 in his last fights at the time he fought Fedor is a great win to you?
Semmy on a 3 fights losing streak and with an average record of 26 wins for 14 losses
Since when Herring was a top dog...? He got mauled by newbe Lesnar, he punched him and roleld to the other side of the cage... That same Heering who never beat a top 10...
Those are your great win? Really?
Fedor might be the only fighter who get tons of credit for beating fighters with a 75% win ration...
Not to mention that Fedor did all the tricks in the book to not fight Overeem and at the same moment wanted to fight Lashley (a bellow average fighter so his fan could say he killed another man...)
Fedor went crazy to not fight in the UFC and when nog became champ, he then asked to fight in the UFC...
Yeah, he is great, not like Jon jones who just keep fighting the best of the best
Not like Israel who fights the best and not back down
not like Stipe who fight the best available
Nah, those guys are not beating fighters with a 20-10 records, they fights fighter with 20-3 records...
You just proved my point, Fedor has no great wins appart of Nog
Are you referring to the Hendricks who lost to Rick Story and then got overly generous split decision wins over Pierce and Koscheck? That same Hendricks???@dildos
Like the Hendricks fight?
fanboyism....Ohhh...I see what this conversation is gonna be...sorry but this is a waste of time.
“Arlovski on a 4 fight losing streak”—um, no. Arlovski went on that losing streak AFTER losing to Fedor. When he fought Fedor, he was on a 5 fight winning streak, which included wins over Werdum, Rothwell, and Roy Nelson. Hell, Arlovski was one fight away from a UFC title shot in 2017 <45>
Herring was never a top dog? Who were the best heavyweights in 2002? Couture, Nog, Barnett, Ricco, and Herring. And yeah, Lesnar beat a shopworn Herring 6 years later—and Uncle Dana rewarded him with a title shot, despite Lesnar having lost the fight before that!
Anyway, you can believe whatever you like. I can see we aren’t going to deal in facts here, so peace out.

Absolutely. I just think he might have fought too long. Same with Nog, Chuck. GSP left at the right timeWell, Herring was the #1 contender in PRIDE at the time. If you took UFC and PRIDE both into account, Herring was probably #3. Hell, Brock got a UFC title shot after beating Herring 6 years later, lol. Coleman was probably losing it by ‘06 when they rematched—but when they first met, Coleman had won 7 of his last 8 fights (the loss was to Nog).
But yeah, I’ll agree that Fedor has some padding on his record overall. I don’t think there’s any doubt about that. But it’s still heavyweight where one punch can end the fight. Jones dwarfsFedor but won’t take a heavyweight fight. Fedor had basically a 31 fight win streak. No UFC champ has won more than 3 fights after becoming champ. Fedor won 18; and while there’s some padding, there’s still Nog, Mirko, Hunt, Coleman, Randleman, Sylvia, and Arlovski. It’s more than a respectable resume.
None of Jones best wins were nor went on a fight losing streakOhhh...I see what this conversation is gonna be...sorry but this is a waste of time.

The difference between Jones and GSP is that GSP fled before USADA busted his ass over, now people are delusional thinking he'd be the unbeatable boring ass fighter he used to be without his peds, pretty much what's happening to Jones right now, except that Jones actually engage fights, on the contrary is GSP.
Even though I don't like the way Jones won over his last fights, he's miles ahead of GSP.
None of GSP’s biggest wins went on a losing streak? Really? Must be news to B.J. Penn, Johny Hendricks, and Carlos Condit.None of Jones best wins were nor went on a fight losing streak
None of GSP biggest wins went on a losing streak
None of Anderson Silva biggest win went on a losing streak (around the time he faced them)
None of Israel biggest wins went on losing streak
None of DC best wins went on a losing streak
None of ...
But all of Fedor best wins (minus Nog) went or were on a losing streak... That tells a lot.
You beat someone, you feel good.... Then you see many people do so with ease right after or before you... That mean, you just beat a bum... But hey, to Fedor fan, that just mean he beat the killer of the killer
Fedor made Brett Rogger look great...

Jon's competition was of a much higher caliber than GSP's. When it comes to Goat talks this is the main difference for me:
Jon as the 23 year old challenger made the defending champion tap to strikes

GSP as the defending champion tapped to strikes

jones does just enough to make alot of people question if he won the fight.
gsp won dominantly leaving no doubt as to who won.
He also greased(and who knows how many other times, we'll just assume he was greased for every fight) for that fight, so he cheated in his only defense that wasnt a boring lay n pray decisionGSP - 1 finish (vs a bloated LW via corner stoppage) in 9 title defenses
