GSP is way better than Khabib

Name the fighters that GSP fought that are twice as good as RDA, Poirier, Gaethje, and McGregor.
I’ll give to Conor and Dustin, but you’re crazy if you think RDA or Gaethje are as good a win as Penn, Fitch, Bisping, Koscheck, Shields, Hendricks, or Condit. Their records aren’t even worth comparing. I’d put Justin in the Thiago Alves category.

Serra has power in his hands. Your analogy is false.

That's not why this is a bad analogy. Guida has 7 out of 35 wins by KO/TKO - exactly 20% - while Serra has 2 out of 11 wins by KO/TKO - just under 20%. To say either guy "has power in his hands" is a bit of a stretch, but Guida has proven to be more successful in that sense, or possessing "heavier" hands. In short, what you said was "false".

Serra KOing GSP in his first title defense is like Guida KOing Khabib in his first title defense.

The closest comparison to Serra I could find (in my short search) was #60 ranked FW - Matt Sayles - who is 8-3 in MMA. 1 less loss than Serra had when he beat GSP for the belt.

Hope that settles it. Guida was definitely too good to properly compare.

Better striking, wonderful jabs

better wrestling, he dont need the cage to put you down unlike khabib

better ground and pound

better physical condition

better reach, don't have t rex arms of khabib

better fight iq

he even have a better lay n pray

gsp beat khabib 9 times over 10, if not 10 times

even 40yo GSP beat prime habib
Gsp striking is overrated tbh. He has a great man. The rest of his strikes are stiff as hell

His kicks were very nice. One of the best kickboxers at 170 during his era. Very, very good defense as well.

GSP is a black belt in karate. He has a better kicking game and better distant management.

I would agree

Khabib however has great standup defense, his head movements are awkward but effective, he can avoid getting hard hits directly to his temple/jaw/chin

And GSP fought better competition. GSP went through a division full of elite grapplers and elite strikers.

Khabib on the other hand fought mainly strikers. Oh and Gaethje doesn't count.

Some insecurity from GSP fans..

{<jordan}

And for the record, I regard George as UFC goat..

Agreed, Khabib didn't even test the waters at 170 so calling him the goat is a joke. He needed to go up and beat Usman for the belt to even be in the discussion.

All these people think khabib beats most ww but khabib himself disagrees. Theres a reason he didnt fight at ww

GSP better GnP really? No. They are similar fighters but different attributes. Biggest advantage of GSp is that he is rather flawless in almost everything he does. Khabib too but he is more relentless, more fearless with his pressure. That has put him in a couple of tough spots but it's an x factor that GSP doesn't quite have.

And probably most MW as well.
Agreed, actually I think he beats every MW. The biggest risk would have been prime Anderson Silva but even there I would have favored prime GSP - but definitely not a sure thing

are you high or just trolling? wow this post is just insane. This is bizzaro world stuff.

What did I say that you disagree with?

lol literally everything. I didnt mean to be so rude but I just cant see a world where RDA is being compared and overshadowed by josh 0-6 Koscheck (all ko's), CArlos 2-9 Condit, Pig Rigg and Fitch who is the best out of all these by FAR. As for Justin he is infinitely more dangerous than anyone gsp ever faced. Thiago alves went 6-10 to finish his .500 career. Take away his pecs and the 1 leg kick a round and hes just an average fighter. Georges' legacy is built on myth. these guys are all average to below average fighters and he couldnt even finish them. The only two legit legends he ever faced were hughes who finished him and georges had to wait until matt was almost 40 and out of his prime to finally beat him and bj who beat the living shit out of gsp in the first fight in what was and still is one of the absolute WORST robberies of all time and the 2nd fight bj was a full time lw by then so he wasnt even a true ww.

Not comparable imo. Guida had much more experience, fought at 155, and had some fairly decent wins.

You'd have to pick a FW with an 8-4 record, who only fought at 155 four times to make an even comparison.
You'd also have to make it Khabib's 15th fight, before Glieson Tibau almost beat him.

Arguable. At their peaks, GSP dominated better competition in more ways. But overall, a close decision win against Tibau is better than tapping to strikes against a BJJ guy.
He wasn’t in his prime back then. The tibeau equivalent is the Hendricks fight. And Hendricks could ko people as well. And GSP still had a very very close fight against him while khabib hugged Gleison for 3 rounds. Difference is Hendricks would not only stuff the takedowns but knock him out as well.
