**GSP confirms contract negotiations with UFC**

Ugh. I hope he stays retired. I respect GSP's skills, and his tactical approach to MMA, but WW title fight's have been exciting since he left. No need to ruin that.

GSP has sold more PPV than any WW fighting today. If he has a comeback fight it will sell HUGE. You may not equate that with excitement but it means fans want to see him fight.

They may have a budget but you think they don't know for a minute the revenue he would generate lol it would explode

It would be really foolish for Bellator to dish out 6 million plus to a guy who will probably only fight a few more times.

Would be hilarious to see Bellator get Viacom to open up the purse strings and get GSP's comeback fight aganst Ben Henderson.

So gsp v who for a first fight? Mcgregor , lawler?

Why would it be foolish?Every WW on the planet dreams of fighting Gsp.

entimports.

GTFO

no one fuckin uses that shit site. anyone who posts links from it is an advertising shill, which is probably why you have dubs.

Man Reebok is definitely the biggest mistake zuffa had made since buying the ufc.

UFC should have gotten Under Armour as the sponsor. brand is hot as hell right now and achieving remarkable growth. that was the kind of sponsor the UFC needed.

Lol underarmour is a joke. Reebok is slightly more of a joke.

Nike all day baby.

To be honest he probably is the biggest draw in MMA.His stock never fell as Silvas did.

Another excuse by gsp... How many is that now?

He'll sign the deal once UFC finds a big name lw for him to beat up

If that was an issue, I don't see why they wouldn't give him an individual Reebok deal (like PVZ, Conor, etc has) that pays him closer to what he used to get. His largest $ of money probably came from his share of PPV anyway.

GSP fought out his contract? No wonder Dana was so pissed about the Hendricks decision. That was more than just him thinking Hendricks edged it out. GSP fought his contract out and kept the belt putting him in a very slick position for negotiations on a new contract or even leave if he wanted to and sign somewhere else even though it's highly unlikely anyone could afford him.

No, he still has fights left on his contract, not sure how many, but he can negotiate a new contract. Basically the UFC can refuse to renegotiate his contract but he can say fine, then I won't fight for you, or anyone for that matter. The UFC wants GSP to fight so they will try to get him a new contract but both sides have to agree and I'm sure that is alot of lawyers jerking off during the process.

Holy crap. That's all I can say. When does this Reebok deal expire?

I only see orgs with successful PPVs as being able to afford fighters like Conor, GSP, and Ronda. Which is only the UFC. That'd mean someone like Bellator would have to make like $10 million per event in order to pay GSP much less the other fighters on the card, staff, insurance and fees, etc.
