Social Greta Thunberg Megathread

Your point is fucking stupid

There I spelled it out for you , yw
My point is the only valid point here, comrade.

A mentally-ill teenager, who hasn't received her high school science credits, is not an expert on anything, especially science. Literally any woman with her high school science credits is more qualified to speak on scientific matters than Greta®.

That's my point, but you already knew that. Want to do this one more time?

Who has called her an expert ?

And calling her mentally ill shows your opinion is just silly and should be disregarded unless you care to provide a source showing Asperger's to be a mental illness .

She is mentally ill. Autism is a form of mental illness. I'm very sorry if I triggered you ma'am, but it's not my opinion, that's a fact.

Here's some further reading material for you to willfully ignore.

https://www.nimh.nih.gov/health/topics/autism-spectrum-disorders-asd/index.shtml
https://www.psychiatry.org/patients-families/autism
https://www.nami.org/learn-more/mental-health-conditions/autism

...you're going to argue mild autism isn't autism, aren't you? Lol, classic.

Also, your edit doesn't change the original quote unless you do it before I reply. This isn't facebook, cheeky monkey.

Based on this post I think you need to be admitted soon you need help. :)

Lmao , your link does not call autism mental illness you doofus , mainly because it isn't .

https://www.arrowpassage.com/mental-illness-vs-autism/
" It’s not uncommon for people, particularly adults, to be misdiagnosed with a mental illness before receiving a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder(ASD). But mental illness and developmental disabilities like autism are not the same things"

Still waiting for an answer on who called her an expert .

"Although autism can be diagnosed at any age, it is said to be a “developmental disorder” because symptoms generally appear in the first two years of life."

My first link, second paragraph. Not exactly separating developmental disorders and general mental illness or conditions too well, is it? But you already knew that, didn't ya? It's kinda weird your exact counter argument also appears in your URL, like you had to search specifically for it, instead of crafting an argument out of sources.

https://www.nami.org/learn-more/mental-health-conditions/autism. We're just arguing semantics right now. A mental health condition isn't an illness! Yes it is, no it's not, ad infinitum.

I'm also not surprised @PEB insisting anyone who disagree's with Greta® should have their rights taken away. It seems about as reasonable as her worshipper's get.

To answer you "Nobody said Greta® was an expert!?" non-argument, exactly. She's not an expert, she's a little mentally ill girl who didn't get to finish high school, and I don't believe everything she says. Nor do I have to believe her. The fact she's chosen science to talk about, isn't my problem. It's hers.

If you say "she's an icon, she's raising awareness, and is the face of the movement!" congratulations, an animated dog or cat could have done the same thing. She's just a hype job, my point exactly. Her grandparents were actors, her mom believes she can see CO2 emissions with her naked eye, her dad controls the social media accounts, and it's all too strange for me to support unequivocally.

She sounds like she’s gonna be a nightmare to date when she’s older.

@uppercutbus The true mark you're right in the war room. Always. Based. As. Fuck. You're goin' to jail now.

Can you believe I missed their goalpost-shift and made twice the work for myself? Amateur mistake.

A child who's brain never fully developed. The perfect mascot for the left.

Moron doesn't know the difference between a developmental disorder and a mental illness and is trying to lecture us, LOL.

Fun Greta fact no one's talking about that she is a babe magnet at her speeches and that OKCupid.com said that people who mention that they support her movement in their description had greater chances of finding women with similar interests. So instead of hanging around Sherdog you could be dating a hottie because have you seen the woman who supporter her wow.
"
Teen activist Greta Thunberg didn’t just create visibility for climate change concerns this year, she also helped dating app users weed through their options.

Popular dating app OkCupid reported an 800 percent increase in mentions of Thunberg on profiles around the world this year. Users who mention Thunberg are indicating supporting her is key to their dating preferences.

“One of the issues we’re hearing people care about is climate change. [Users are] showing this issue matters to them when it comes to their potential partner,” Melissa Hobley, OkCupid’s chief marketing officer, told The Hill. “They’re talking about Greta on their profiles. ... I think people feel that supporting her or not shows how you feel about the issue and its impact.”"

Most of the dudes who hate on her are angry incels anyway so it wouldn't do them any good.

Surprise. Surprise. She's now been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Not a joke. After it's been revealed (but not widely reported) that her father an a UN climate change activist wrote everything that made her famous.

Of course, the award has little meaning. I wouldn't be surprised if she won. I would be surprised if she didn't. She has better credentials than Obama.

She's done more in her small life than anyone on this forum.
P.s she isn't retarded

Aspergers

Symptoms

They start early in life. If you're a mom or dad of a kid who has it, you may notice that he can't make eye contact. You may also find that your child seems awkward in social situations and doesn't know what to say or how to respond when someone talks to him.

He may miss social cues that are obvious to other folks, like body language or the expressions on people's faces. For instance, he may not realize that when somebody crosses his arms and scowls, he's angry.

Another sign is that your child may show few emotions. He may not smile when he's happy or laugh at a joke. Or he may speak in a flat, robotic kind of way.

If your child has the condition, he may talk about himself most of the time and zero in with a lot of intensity on a single subject, like rocks or football stats. And he might repeat himself a lot, especially on a topic that he's interested in. He might also do the same movements over and over.

He also may dislike change. For instance, he may eat the same food for breakfast every day or have trouble moving from one class to another during the school day.

>>> And people actually believe SHE is doing all of this (Climate Change BS, Trademark BS, etc.) and not her manipulative, money-grubbing father? <45><45><45>

I don't get what you quoting me has to do with your 'point'

Keeping others from profiting off of your name and image.

I am confused why anyone would be against her (or her parents) doing this.
What do you expect from guys who get triggered and rant about a 16 years old enviromental activist with aspergers on a karate forum?

Baron Trump should take one for the team and slip a red pill up into that....
