I think that's what kills me the most about the "climate change" movement. As a child who went to school in the 90's, I remember life was all about those things. We did an entire spring "concert" about it. I remember that one song literally had a chorus of "We're killing the ozone(killing the ozone!)", there was also a song about CFC's, and another about styrofoam that I vaguely remember.i hope greta addresses acid rain and the hole in the ozone lair. I was warned about this as a kid and yet the dumb government has done nothing to stop it
I also remember watching shows about the polar icecaps being completely melted by right now, and seeing over half the USA being underwater. They even made a made for tv movie about it with Craig T Nelson called "The Fire Next Time" in 1993. The exact synopsis is "Set in 2017, the plot focuses on a family who, after a series of fires begins to break out due to global warming, must struggle to survive a natural disaster that devastates the earth.".
I agree that we should take care of the earth, but forgive me for not buying in to the hysteria...It's been the narrative my entire life and I haven't seen any Armageddon or anything even close yet.
