Rumored Gregor Gillespie teasing return at Madison Square Garden in November

I wish he fought more regularly - GG vs Arman or Gamrot would be grappling fire, but since he’s unranked they aren’t going to fight him.

No, they're not. Gregor was #8 or #9 when he got removed from the rankings. Literally higher ranked than Dawson is now.

Also, Gregor already beat Vinc Pichel.

And then he fucked off. He was right above Conor and Tony, so he's ranked right above those 2 now.

Well Tony is on a 5-fight losing streak and got to headline a PPV in his last fight, Conor is on a 2-fight losing streak and is going to waltz into another PPV headliner if he's not actually retired.


Gregor actually won his last fight. I'm just saying give him somebody who is at the level he was at when he left and let's see if he's still got it.

Headliners. That's a name value thing. We're talking ranks. Conor's getting a free ride on account of a ranked guy wanting a pay day and easy fight, and it's still not gonna happen anyway.

Literally everybody forgot about this guy and it's not gonna bode well with how the UFC is gonna wanna pay him going forward.
 
Bring back Will Brooks, who's about the same age. That would be a perfect match-up. My only concern for Gregor would be that Brooks has been active outside the UFC, while Gregor barely fights.

And looks like he stays in great shape during layoffs, unlike much younger guys like Paddy. What a waste of potential.
 
Gregor vs Gamrot please and thank you. He has been on the shelf a while though so honestly I would probably give him a gatekeeper fight to see if he's still got it or not so how about Elves Brener who is sniffing the top 15 if he's not already there already.
