Rocky Marciano was the Fedor of Boxing.
er.. no.
Fedor is the Rocky Marciano of MMA. So far.
Rocky Marciano was the Fedor of Boxing.
Thats a different sort of power IMHO. Snappy punches versus clubbing.
IMO, Tysons precison power punching is too much.
Tyson was better than Shavers. Quicker than Foreman.
Ali was the best boxer who was easy to hit.
I've always thought Tyson was a bad fight for Ali.
Ali was too willing to "let" a fighter punch themselves out. That strategy against Tyson = fail.
Seano, you've never seen Ali before the exile?!?! And you call yourself a boxing fan?!?!Ali was the best boxer who was easy to hit.

Fedor died in a plane crash and nobody knows where his money is?
No and he didn't retire undefeated either. Plus Rocky was around before Fedor I think.Rocky Marciano isn't the Fedor of anything.
I know.
Im the Fedor of shit talking.
Tyson FOREVER!

RJJ as the best boxer ever are you fucking kidding me..............
Youre right James quick tillis did it for ten rounds no way young muhammad ali would do it(sarcasm). Watch young Ali. That Ali was hard as hell to hit, he had the legs and stamina for 15 rounds and his speed was unreal. This isn't the rope a doping ali. From the Sonny Liston fight to the cleveland williams fight, that ali would have beat tyson handily, as well as many other reincarnations of Ali.
I'm not a tyson basher, I agree he is severly underatted in his prime. But he would always have trouble with tall tough boxers, especially the best one there ever was.
Thats true, but you definatley can tell there is a speed difference between the two Ali's. Also i'd put liston into foreman and fraziers category of skill level.
But,If you just look at his body its doesn't have the lean explosive look he had before. I mean it was three and half years, you can't take that off in any sport let alone boxing and expect to be the same. I dont know, i just can't see mike doing enough to beat Ali, I think you had to kill him to beat him and mike would wilt under much less.
I think Cassius gives Tyson a better fight than Ali.
I guess thats the debate. What was Alis prime? When he was dominating second stringers and guys at the late stages of their careers? Or when he fought the best fighters like Foreman and Frazier?
IMO the Ali that fought Foreman, Norton and Frazier- he gets KOed by Tyson and early IMO.
BUT, which Tyson. The "Old Tyson" or the "After jail one".

Well.. I pick the Ali tht beat the most impressive fighters and had the bigger fights, which IMO, made him his best, so I'd say the pre douglas tyson. The guy who seemed to be faultless and KOed everyone. IMO, thats when Tyson was his best.
