Greatest boxer ever?

I honestly had no idea that there would be this many people who thought that Rocky Marciano was he greatest boxer who has ever lived.

WTF to even take this seriously you have to have sugar ray and iron mike, between them and ali those are easily top three.

Seriouisly, Ali is always ranked too high on P4P lists. There were several better HWs, let alone P4P of every weight class.
 
He does deserve at the very least top 5 though. He was really good. Shit, he could flick the light switch off and be in bed before the lights where off...

Name better heavyweights...just curious.

Also, i dont like adding Heavyweights as P4P fighters...

I had this friend who would always argue that marciano would beat ali, tyson, lewis,

basically anyone/everyone.

I rofl'd in his face.
 
Big fan of Mariciano. But he isnt even the best puncher of all time and that was his main weapon.
 
Ali talked and punched his way to the title of GOAT but in terms of boxing ability, no way.

Cassius Clay was an incredible fighter, when he got all black panthery and political and changed his name, he lost something.

Better HWs? MArciano and Louis for 2. Those are just the immediate obvious answers.
 
Obvious and wrong. Louis is arguable, I agree. Marciano is not. Regardless of the '0', they are of a clearly different caliber.
