He's seen increased resumes and improving the business he went and just gave another business employees in Idaho the same 70K minimum raise in Idaho that buys a lot of potatoes and a home. He was home schooled and raised in a conservative Christian family so he really seems to be doing good works and as a conservative he files in the face of many conservatives who believe there should be no increase in minimum wages heck many of them think there should be no setting a min. wage.

His employees as a way to thank he gave him a new Tesla and his turnover rate has dropped to almost nothing. He took one employees wages from 21K where she was working before to over 60K at the time she paid off her car loan and her credit card debt. This also turns out to be good for the economy because people have more disposable income to buy things like cars and other job creating items. Rush Limbaugh predicted his company would fail in 2015 here it is 2019 and he just gave his other company a big raise hope Rush is still holding his breath LOL.

Yes TYT get over it he just gave more employees a pay increase in 2019 after he did the same thing in Seattle in 2015. His brother Ebonisa sued him at first but seems that he got out.

So what you're saying is.. if everyone is actually paid enough money to pay for their living expenses they're happy...

Weird.

I know I was told by Republicans that people where happy with their low wage jobs just because they have a job weird.

Its almost as if regular joes having more disposable income is better for the economy than a few hoarding billions upon billions

This is what boot lickers don't understand, and I'll admit it's hard to understand even.

The amount of money and assets billionaires have is staggering to comprehend to the regular joe.

Simply put, it's just not very efficient way of distributing wealth into the economy. Even if a billionaire wanted to.. they have so much money it's hard to spend that much. It's antithetical to expect a billionaire to do this, their very existence is a sign of individual frugality. These people aren't wasteful, they're intelligent with their resources.

Decentralization of financial wealth and economic planning is a core principal of capitalism. Billionaires accumulating extreme wealth like this is turning us into a place where we have the centralization of wealth you'd see in a more communist society, even unintentionally, except the selfishness ingrained in the capitalist system prevents any sort of fair or efficient distribution, and the scale of accumulated wealth makes the task difficult to begin with for individual billionaires.

We're getting the worst of both systems and the few of the benefits from either. We have the slow clunkyness of centralized economic planning and decision making and the cold heart of capitalism.

I heard about this gentlemen on npr I believe. He has really made sacrifices to better the lives of his employees.

I hope his fortune and business practices can continue when we aren’t in such prosperous times. As we’ve seen numerous other attempts fail. Perhaps he’s a better businessman than they were.

We're heading towards a debt bubble where people will hold more debt then they can pay back. Because people are taking on more debt and more debt because they are being told the debt is good, and in the back room they are driving the current economy because business spending has been slowing.

The very reason why we gave out massive tax cuts to corporations many companies last I have seen around 85 percent have seen a slowdown and are boosting their cash position to weather out the next big economic recession or economic drop.

Increased wages reduces debt reduces people need to take on debt and currently something like 60 percent of the people in the lower wage scale cannot afford a 400 dollar emergency expense like a car repair or medical expense like a prescription.

What this guy is doing is anti American. He should be handing out bootstraps, not raising the wages for the working and middle class.

This is a scam. Employees like making 11 bucks an hour while their CEO makes 10 mil a year. At least that’s what right wingers on sherdog tell me and I believe them. The wealth will trickle down... any day now the wealth will come trickling down. Any day now.

He actually has a pretty good record in business made his first million by 21 and was making 1 million a year by 26 and started to think about a future where raising wages would effect his business. He was modeling this idea back almost since the beginning of his success in business. He rolled it out by his 30th birthday after thinking about how much cash he would need to cover the business expenses and business operation. He also admits he gets cash from his business but found it better to use towards growth then keep it so he was able to drive even more growth from his businesses and add to his personal fortune.

Jellybean economics FTW

It’s nice to see that so many of the right wing ideological pillars are simply a laughingstock around here.

So now libtards love conservative Christians? Good times.

Actions and facts mean more than labels to reasonable people, if you step out of your partisan bubble perhaps you would learn that.

Was going to say the same thing. @PEB is openly bigoted towards the right, but now creates a thread praising a conservative because it fits his narrative. Fucking LOL! This is nothing more than a liberal circle jerk thread.

You really don't get me do you and you seem to assume because of ripping on Republicans that means on am some kind of raging liberal. First I am pro-life second I don't believe your truly a Christian if you believe it's ok to let someone go without a home, healthcare, income to support a family and that billionaires are going to magically spit dollars down from the heavens. Oh and starting wars that's a very Christian thing to do and don't give me a verse that says war is good. Secondly I go to mass every week and I have done this for my whole life. These are hardly the things that the right likes to paint liberals at because I believe Christians should care for others. Oh I also believe excess debt is going to throw the economy into another Recession even Ron Paul said as much and talked about how the Government is ready to plow upwards of 75 billion a day to stabilize banks that too is a very Christian thing to do.

If the right-wingers were smart, this would be their spin on the Gravity story:

"See - under capitalism any capitalist is free from government coercion and may even, if he so chooses, distribute his company's revenue in a socialistic manner. Whereas, under socialism, all business owners are FORCED by the GOVERNMENT to ONLY dance to a socialist tune!"

You leftists are being ignorant by cherrypicking a single business.

https://chicago.suntimes.com/2019/9...ers-strike-public-schools-lightfoot-ctu-union
"The median salary for more than 19,600 full-time CPS teachers was $82,826 in late August".

These school teachers are making more money than the employees in Gravity, and yet they still may go on strike.

Greedy unions can put an extra burden on taxpayers. Company owners may leave the state or country to flee leftist policies.

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/03/19/cal...ousing-costs-and-taxes-are-fleeing-state.html
"Californians may still love the beautiful weather and beaches, but more and more they are fed up with the high housing costs and taxes and deciding to flee to lower-cost states such as Nevada, Arizona and Texas."

This is the reality. If leftist policies are so good, then why are more people leaving?

You leftists are hypocrites for wanting to bring in cheap programmers from poor countries such as India or cheap laborers from Mexico.

Leftist policy decreases wages. Stop pushing your idealism for a socialist utopia.
