GOTHAM (Season 3 Premieres Sept. 19)

The joker is not going to appear on this show unless this show introduces Batman first since in all accounts. The Joker became who he is because of Batman.

What's most likely for us to see is various characters who display various joker personalities.

I agree about Bullock as well as Penguin and my favorite Don Maroni who I am hoping gets resurrected somehow...

I have very little faith that they won't give in to the temptation and try to force the real Joker in somehow.

Damn I was so pissed when Jérome got killed off. The actor was great.
But Maroni getting head-shot by Fish was the worst, first because David Zayas is one of my favorite actors (he was great in Oz as Enrique Morales... and still looks exactly the same, man does this guy ever age?) and second because it makes no fucking sense
:(

But like in the video games, they keep screwing with my favorite villains...
Hush is just a stupid bully that appears in one episode? That was a perfect moment for Bruce to have a "friend", and fit some of the events/flash-back from "Heart of Hush"

Or have that kid be Roman Sionis (since he was forced to play with Bruce as a kid but disliked him), since the episode was loosely based on Black Mask (another one of my fav Batman villains). And then "Gotham's version of Sionis" gets killed by Tigress in the 2nd season? They really handled that poorly.

But that was funny to see David Zayas (Sal Maroni) and John Doman (Carmine Falcone) going at war again, since they were already enemies in Oz as Enrique Morales & "Colonel" Edward Galson.
That was pretty funny for Oz fans.

On the bright side, I love Nygma, he totally reminded me of Rory McDonald in that mirror scene.
I love Penguin, they did a great job with him.
I loved Jérome, too bad he ended up like that, I suspected he was a "proto-Joker" but I thought they would keep him longer.

With Barbara going batshit crazy, I guess we will see more of Amygdala. I like this guy.

Gotham is a good show, but I had higher hopes. Let's see were they take us...

I hear what your saying, they are tampering with the character backstory way too much. I personally don't mind except Maroni since Don Maroni was amazing character and by all accounts he is the guy who makes Dent turn in to two face.

Speaking of tonight's episode, I cant believe Victor Zsaz got caught! Unexpected indeed...

Oh and Nathaniel Barnes doesn't fool me for a second. He is in Theos pockets. He made it very clear when he said "What do we have to lose" which was his rebuttal to Jim regarding hiring young kids to be in the strike force.

Alfred smacking Selina was some fucked up shit the Alfred on there is an asshole. She was there to talk to Bruce and he **** blocked him fucking old ass butler.

Alfred is a real douche. Cockblocks then makes Bruce run home. I'd fire his ass and hire Selina as my butler.

Also Victor Zsasz got 200 bullets shot his way and only 1 hit maybe? Those cadets need more training they are C level.

Theo primping out his ward to Bruce, nothing is out of bounds with this guy. Also, Jessica Lucas, goddamn hella fine.

I'm pleasantly surprised with how much I've been enjoying this season. Total opposite of last. I couldn't even get past the 6th episode.

Victor knows how to DODGE!

Anybody else notice Gordon's gun emptied after like 3 shots in that shootout lol?

Also, I'd gladly give my big toe to see Barbara and Tabatha make whoopie.

Barbara annoyed the hell out of me last season, but she's smoking hot this season.

Boring episode but I guess its not the court of owls.

just finished watching season 1 on nflix.

Didn't care for Fish Mooney character, and I hope doesn't come back.

I liked Penguins rise through the ranks though.

I liked Edward Nygma's scenes.

Look forward to seeing more of riddler and penquin what i finally get around to season 2.

Glad they gave Theo Galavan some backstory this ep. He was pretty bland, this makes him a bit more interesting. Pinguin pissed is the best Pinguin, IMO. Hope we see Bruce actually progressing in his training and at least semi-able to protect himself. He's too much of a whiny bitch so far, IMO. Selene, at least, starts to grow more into her role as independent & capable crook. PD being more proactive is also promising. Butch is just an awesome character and actor, IMO. Hope chopping his hand off will not result in him breaking loyalty to Pinguin somewhere down the road. Pretty kewl scene though. :icon_chee Nygma is pretty boss too. Though I hope they keep his story line interesting and not stretch out his semi-suave escapede too much with him balancing between alter-egos while dating.

Was that chick supposed to be Firefly? Or more like a female-proto-firefly...

Dang it they keep fucking with my favorite villains, Jerome got killed off too quick, proto-Black Mask got killed like a chump by Tygress, Proto-Hush is a lame bully, proto-Electrocutioner was lame...

On the bright side, Penguin and The Riddler are amazing.
I like their portraying of Victor Zsasz too, at least they kept it somewhat canon-friendly since he did start out with Penguin (when he gambled all his family fortune against him), but making him a hitman is kinda interesting.

But damn that proto-Firefly was lame.

Victor knows how to DODGE!

Victor is no Gohan, that's for sure.
Nice that he escaped, killing off Maroni was already face-palming worthy enough... David Zayas was great in that role, and he is an iconic Batman character, with the Two-Face "incident"...

I feel like this season is in danger of going off the rails. I caught myself shaking my head over how over the top this story is going.

True, I am glad Victor is still in the game. I agree with you on Maroni 100 percent!

David Zayas Don Maroni was my favorite batman character depiction aside from Heath Ledger Joker. He was a lot like Tony Soprano and in a way he treated Penguin like Christopher Moltisanti.

Finally got all caught up. Penguin and Nygma are great portrayals. Wasn't too surprised to see Jerome go. I thoroughly enjoyed the Galavan background. Tabatha and Barbara... oh my.

The Riddler really messed up there.

Jessica Lucas is one of the best parts of the show.
