GOTHAM (Season 3 Premieres Sept. 19)

I thought that was one of the better episodes so far. Penguin and Riddler are just killing it every scene they're in. I've warmed up to Selina as well. She had a few great scenes with Bruce and Silver St Cloud. Can't wait to see her punch Silver soon.

I just realized this. Theo Galavan is that slimey prick Buress from True Detective Season 2. I knew I hated Galavan for some reason.
 
I am beginning to think that the only reason Falcone and Penguin crime family were so influential was because of Victor Zsaz.


It seems like he is the go to guy when things get tough. Also, it seems like Victor has the ability to train assassins as well as brain washing.
 
Gotta say Season 2 has been a big improvement. Really liking this show now. I think people are sleeping on it because the first season had some cringeworthy moments. Some good ones as well though.

When I saw the ? on the note on his bed, I was so fucking stoked. I just looekd at my wife and was like "about fucking time".

Shit's gonna get real (even though he already killed twice) with the Riddler now, and I am excited for it. The casting choices with the Penguin and the Riddler have been pretty well done, and really have me liking and sort of rooting for those characters/villains in a weird way.
 
nobody has any thoughts on this weeks episode? Loving the riddler in full psycho mode.
 
Yea they should of just let her die right there. Surprised Alfred didn't try to talk Bruce out of not selling his familys life work like that.

Would of been so dumb.
 
yeah i was surprised at alfred not talking bruce out of selling his company and smacking some sense into him.

"let me help you clean up gotham by controlling your dirty company and making decisions"
appropriate response if you thought he was being sincere "uhhh how about I just make you president and let you make decisions as necessary".
 
I loved last episode. Penguin and Riddler teaming up is just perfection, but I feel they are fast tracking Galavan.

They slow rolled with his character, then BOOM, mayor, BOOM caught for being corrupt mayor, then BOOM, he is acquitted and charges dropped.

Was nice seeing Bruce giving that little manipulative turd her comeuppance too.

I cant help but root for Penguin. He is kind of an underdog in the crime world but always manage to get out on top.

Very good casting for sure.

I just cant stand baby Bruce... boring fucking kid.
 
I really want to see more of Indian Hill. That teaser ending was one of the best parts of the series for me...a small part of me doesn't think we've seen the end of Jerome yet either.

eh, he's growing and getting better. most of the time, the characters we hate the most remind us of the parts of ourselves we hate the most (i.e. you're a boring, dorky kid).

you just jelly he's surrounded by two smoking hot teenage girls.

Agreed. I watched a few seasons of Dexter then decided to read one of the books. Big, big mistake. If it hadn't been a Xmas present, I'd have chucked it in the bin before I was halfway through.

Put it this way: the final episode of Dexter, which was rightly derided for jumping the shark, is still way better than any of the books.:eek:
 
that was a fantastic episode. one of the best of the series imo. like the whole religious cult thing. Bruce had his best episode of the season with trolling silver
