What Donald Trump Supporters See That Nobody Else Does

He's been called a fool, a sideshow, and a mental case

He's actually a right-leaning guy, and he's doing both of these threads.

You'd actually be the perfect person to handle that task, though. They can unban your El Viejito account for the Democratic primary thread and you can use PBI for the GOP primary thread.

oh, he might be. was just chuckling to myself about how biased he is. not that it matters in a sherdog thread. you know jack, not every comment i make is meant to be a personal attack on a person or idea. sometimes its just a joke.

i have no idea about the other part you are talking about. however, i would say that i am MUCH closer to down the middle than el viejito was.

1.lead salad is a republican

2.its pretty telling that LS made both, the dem and rep primary threads and the one complaining about it is a right-winger.
says a lot about extreme RWs.

3.-a guy from the opposing party asking questions at a debate might actually get some decent answers instead of the usual rehearsed shit

so i am an extreme rw'er? what gave it away? was it my anti-police stance? perhaps it was my pro choice stance that did it. or is it my being an agnostic? how about being pro gay marriage? hell, i don't know, i gues it could be anything.

and again, wasnt complaining since this doesnt really matter. i was just making an observation.

as for your last part, yea, that would be true if it wasnt. i mean didnt we learn from debates in the last election that people with agendas might not be the right people to host debates?

I haven't seen any examples of bias, except in favor of Rand Paul.

i have no idea about the other part you are talking about. however, i would say that i am MUCH closer to down the middle than el viejito was.

You are consistent in your opposition to abusive police, which made you more consistent as El Viejito and more balanced in your new persona. But on other issues, you seem pretty equal (I do believe that this one is real, though).

I know I'm a sucker here, but I have to ask: What is this in regard to? Democrat Stephen Peace moderating the third party debate? The right-leaning Martha Raddatz moderating the Ryan/Biden debate? The right-leaning Jim Lehrer moderating the first Obama/Romney debate? That's it, right?

LS is only "biased" if you consider mocking the real assholes of the Party biased, I think he would vote for a center-right Republican if they weren't draconian on social issues or hawkish on war. Unfortunately, where are you going to find someone like that who can get through the primaries? It's the GOPs fault for still keeping the extreme elements of the party as their base, but as they die off I think you'll see them become more reasonable. There's a reason he likes the Kasich and Huntsman types, but those guys never break 5% in the polls.

that and the comment on trump. as i said, no big deal to me. you guys are making it a bigger deal than i am.

and i was referring to candy crowley. but i am pretty sure you had no issues with how she handled things

Ah, I see. So it's no problem when conservatives moderate general election debates, but if a liberal does, that's a big problem. And what do you think Crowley did wrong?

The previous thread was already about who we wanted. No one dropped out yet so I didn't want to do that poll again. Didn't want to do who you think will win cause it would just be a bunch of Bush votes (same reason I didn't do it in the Dem poll with who you want or who you think will win). The fact that you cant be comfortable with finding out who is the most disliked in the group because it is somewhat negative for the GOP shows bias on your part. I am comfortable to hear and discuss negatives about the things I support. If you shun it, you're mind stays dull. Iron sharpens iron.

I'm sorry if bias against Trump has offended you so much. I have voiced in previous threads my thought on him. I've posted many articles both positive and negative on all the candidates running. The point of these threads is to engage discussion about the candidates and not to call each other names.

I think they were more annoyed that you took me being biased against Trump as me being a biased liberal. It's like when Hannity/Rush/Fox News hears anything slightly moderate or conservative lite and they jump all over it as liberal BS. They have monopolized the GOP's voice by shunning any other conservative thoughts that aren't extremely far right wing that actually might appeal to to independent/new voters. The good thing is this monopoly will die with the 65+ year old generation who clings to it.

The uproar with Crowley was because Fox News/Hannity ran a story for like 2 months straight that Obama didn't call the act terrorism but he did. Romney was stupid enough to use their talking point and immediately got burned on FACT. It's funny because Hannity constantly says "Why don't they use this in their arguments" "Why don't they just use me for debates" and the idiots main talking point that whole election gets thrown down in five seconds.

The only outrage they could project is "She shouldn't have stated whether Romney lied or not!" even though they were both just standing there saying each other were lying and Romney was saying can we get that for the record that Obama said he called it terror.

Fox News is the GOP's #1 enemy for ever winning the White House.

Ah, I see. So it's no problem when conservatives moderate general election debates, but if a liberal does, that's a big problem. And what do you think Crowley did wrong?

It's funny because there's been times Hannity would post sound bytes from the debates of Obama and say "he lied there, the moderator should stepped in!" and then after the Crowley/rose garden, moderators are simply meant to be the person who asks a question and shuts up.

Lead has been doing an amazing job with these threads and, in spite of his right leanings, is more even handed than most of us.
