You young folk, no respect. I forgot that you have lived under the Santorum regime, in a place where people might, and actually must have, actively supported him.

Yeah. It's really weird to think how some of the elections have gone. We've had Santorum, Casey, Specter. I still don't really understand the make-up of what makes our Senators electable. Casey has been labeled to some as pro-life so I think PA would be a state with Conservative social values but Liberal economic values. Tom Wolfe (current governor) ran on increasing taxes and won by a landslide.

Just make a poll of all the people in the race so far. On the next Democrat version of this thread, there doesn't seem to be any reason to have Warren right now, because I don't think she will run. Just add all the declared Republicans for this one, if you would.

Should it be still who you want to win or who you think will win? It's just going to be Paul overwhelmingly again with the same question.

Maybe I could do the opposite. Which candidates could you not support or which candidate would you least want to win

By the v4, we should have had a one or two debates in and some possible drop outs. I'll do another who would you vote for in that one.

Please include the poll on the next Democrat one at least. I think the polls will change over the months and I think it be interesting to see.

Yea, definitely for the Dem one. The GOP thread goes so fast, I think little has changed. Once the debates start, we will do that going forward since people will drop out, opinions will change, etc.

I bet most of the Warren votes are now going to Sanders

Trump by a landslide, though there definitely some bad candidates up there.

Was going to make it only one vote but then I realized we'd know what we know already with Trump. Multiple voting should give us a clearer picture on the resentment sherdog has for specific candidates.

Holy crap, that's a tough poll question.

BTW, you forgot Graham (is that part of a conspiracy on your part? Hmm). He'd probably win.

I did "Top 10" based on RCP average currently. He isn't in the top 10 and is actually #14/last. You could claim conspiracy if I excluded someone polling high like Carson or Walker. Unfortunately, I did not and thus no uproar or apology is needed.

Wish I did include him though. The polls here need more than 10 max cause I dislike Santorum and Graham almost as much as Trump.

Ah. OK. Makes sense. I should have read more carefully.

BTW, I was joking about the conspiracy thing (an allusion to Paul fans always thinking that things like that are evidence of a conspiracy against them).

I barely could get the (No vote on electability) into the title.

Oh I caught it. I think it's early to call that so far. Ron's following had some hardcore people who were stirring shit at the local level. I haven't seen that yet with Rand but if his Dad's supporters are switching over, we may see it again.

Damnit, I didn't realize it was multiple choice, add a vote in principle for Walker, Carson, Perry, Cruz, and Huckabee as well as Trump. Or, the Adamant Dream Team, as it's known.

EDIT: I realize this post is a bit more of an indictment of the candidates themselves than of their policy, especially economic (where I'm most passionate and where the candidates policies are most provably poor). If you'd like an elaboration on that, which is a bit more dense, let me know and I'll try to bookmark it.

Sure, it's certainly interesting. (Please include Trump in this)

I ain't no fuckin' fan of Perry.

Walker.... I have no idea. Need to hear more from him. I'm still confused as to why he's so popular.

On this, we can agree. I think Walker's popularity might be some sort of bizarre reactionarism thanks to his sticking it to various traditionally liberal interests, and doing so very loudly. He's also ginned up a fair amount of support by playing his recent scandal as some kind of plot to discredit him. I think the term he used was "witch-hunt."

He also gets some support from anti-intellectualists for being an everyman (no college degree).

I meant the other guys, I have my own issues with Perry and Walker. Walker especially, since he actually has a shot.

Walker's stance about a full envasion, or whatever it was, is a bit troubling.
