I also think this is a 'con' when you have your phone's GPS switched OFF, is it ACTUALLY "off" or is is simply *telling* you it's off (a lie) but it's actually always activated and GPS data available to whoever has access to the data.My location is turned off on my phone and I’d be willing to bet google still knows where I am. It just plays dumb when I need something and tells me to enter my location because I have it turned off.
But I’m not fooled google, I see what you did there..
I'm nopt talking about after-the-fact cellphone tower triangulation (which can be and is used by law enforcement etc) but liver active GPS latitude and longitude degrees/minutes/seconds info.
