Good place to look for cheap rashguards?

So just to clarify, is it acceptable to hang dry a rashguard worn on say Tuesday, until a class on Friday, wear it, then wash it with a second rashguard worn on Wednesday and Saturday?

Or one wear, one wash is the norm? The UA I have now doesn't really stink after class, but I'm thinking wash it for the bacteria and the like.

Check out surfing shops. $20 or so. F getting robbed on a $60 rash guard because it's for "MMA".

Just got a quiksilver rashguard for $20 and it feels great! The feel, fit, material, and movement feels better than most of my compression shirts. Plan on getting a few more for sure. Based on reviews I will second the notion to go size up if between sizes.

Only complaint which I figured beforehand is the collar is a bit high so you definitely look like your about to go surfing. I ended up just folding it in and it seems to stay that way during training; and looks better. Might put 2-3 stitches in for it to stay put.

Back 3 weeks ago, I picked up 2 Knuklehead Fightwear Rash guards at Kinji San in Brooklyn. They were like $25 - $30. They also fit the best out of the Fuji & Manto rash guards they have.

Second the surf shops, my favorite rashies are a Volcom, O'Neil, Asics and Scramble for the long torso and 3/4 sleeve. Nike Pro is also good. All of those rashies (with the exception of Scramble) were $20 or less.

For the most part they are all the same stuff. I won't pay over $35 for a rashie and even then I feel like it's a luxury item since the Scramble is specifically designed for rolling...

I get Under Armour and the like (my favorite is a Nike I got for $17) on clearance at TJ Maxx. Never had a problem.

I use a short sleeve, but Im noob and I notice other ppl and instructor use long sleeve.

any reason why? I suppose arm movement on the mat.

I generally use long sleeve for more protection either under the gi or under a t-shirt (for no-gi and standup training).

I used to buy lots of Under Armor and even Everlast "compression" shirts which do nicely as moisture wicking, but the durability was not there.

Now I have dedicated rashies from MMA brands like Nogi, Rupture, and Manto. They seem to hold up a lot better, especially with all the rubbing and stretching that will happen to them while doing bjj.
