I feel like Shamil Musaev and Michael Morales at 170 got a real decent shot. At 155...probably no one in the world, but Arman and Ilia were his biggest threats in the UFC by far at LW.

Tsarukyan will obviously destroy Topuria but I really think he can move up and destroy anybody in welterweight except Usman. And that includes Islam.

What do you guys think?

first off there is no guarantee arman could beat topuria. we have seen what gameplanning can do against elite wrestlers and honestly i think poriers gameplan of levelchanging off the jab to pre-emptively meet armans level changes along ilias use of straight punches to the body would make defending armans takedowns much easier for ilia. islam was only able to address and dismantle that sort of approach with a level of striking that arman just doesnt have. second in no universe does arman beat islam by anything other than a lucky knockout (islam is just a better fighter in every way especially on the feet) and he is just too small and short for ww. this post feels like bait its very silly

I don't know that he beats Ilia, but Ilia vs Arman and Max vs Arman are the most interesting fights at 155 to me right now.

yep max vs arman is a sleeper threat for arman. max is really crafty and if he could deal with the wrestling well hed probably eat arman up on the feet. arman has alot of flashy tools on the feet but his process and understanding of striking isnt the best and his defense is a weakpoint
