Gone Zero Carb.

How much weight have you lost so far? Over how long?

About how many calories do you think you eat per day?

This and tell more. Don't change anything yet, guinea pig. :)

Question for the knowledgeable: does meat contain vitamins by virtue of the animal having eaten plants containing those vitamins?

you probably eat things that contain vitamins so don't you think that YOU probably contain vitamins?

Same question, for veggies and shit sprayed on them.

i hate cooking too much to be able to eat that much meat.. dam

still no updates? you still there cc?

if you gave up just tell us, no shame in that!

too bad we never heard back from cc either. maybe the same thing happened.

can you elaborate masakatsu?

I gave up :(

I ran a half marathon and decided to celebrate with some drinking and fine food. That trend (minus the drinking) has continued since...over the past week I've slowly been dropping carbs out of the equation, hopefully I can get on (off?) the wagon again.

Felt horrible. Foggy head, no energy, completely lethargic, always sleepy, and woke up in the middle of the night completely covered in sweat. My body was also always tingly and felt far from right.

Once I got some carbs in my system (Peanut M&M's FTW) I felt MUCH better.

While that does sound like symptoms of hypoglycemia (especially the diaphoresis), it could have also been your body adjusting to ketosis. Did you ever have a blood glucose test done while on the zero carb?

No. During my next cut phase though, I plan on getting a blood glucose test done.

yeah i agree....although it does sound like something on the more severe end of adjusting to ketosis.

How long did you manage to do it for masakatsu?

I usually get a bit of the brain fog and trouble sleeping (plus excess sweating at night) for a couple of weeks but after that I feel pretty good.

I'd agree with your assessment that it's more the adjustment to ketosis than anything. Days 2-4 on low carb destroy my will to live. But after that, I am insanely full of energy.

An easy thing to do is to buy some ketone sticks. It motivates me. I know that once I am getting positive results in my piss, I'm about to start feeling great.

Am I the only one here who has absolutely no problems whatsoever on a low carb diet? In fact, I feel 100% better physically and mentally when going lower-carb (aka actually eating right and now chowing down on junk food).

i am the same way. I feel much much better without many carbs. The first few days I feel good, then I have a few days I feel tired/run down/ foggy headed. Then I feel terrific.

also, like many people, once I cut out the carbs for a week or two i no longer really crave them either. i do tend to crave fat though. :)

No sir, count me in. I have never felt better in my whole life. Fat and cholesterol FTW! :icon_chee
