They killed everyone, wtf? Anyway good that they're done with it. It was absurd.

Yes and no.

The acting is pretty cartoonish at times, but the story is excellent, as are the characters. The character structure can be overly theatrical at times, which is off-putting for some, although I really enjoyed it.

Ciro is a spectacular television character.

Season 5 episode 1 had arguably the best intro of any episode/season (police searching everywhere, music to go with it, Genny waking up and running up the stairs). The season as a whole though felt too rushed though, should have been the regular 12 episodes instead of 10. Also was a bit disappointed how they ended it all and that Marco D'Amore had too big of an influence on it (especially with Ciro). The writing was also poorer than the previous seasons.
S1, 2, 3 are all amazing. S4 was also pretty good but not up to the first 3. I'd say it's probably my favourite show ever made after The Sopranos, if S5 would have been better then it would have been #1 for me..
