Social GoldenWolf's COVID Vaccine/Lockdown Protest megathread Vol. 2

You asked my opinion on that specific article. I showed you why it was trash.
I didn't set the rules, I answered your question with my opinion. A journo wrote an article, referenced her own semi related articles and you didn't even realise until I read it.

This is why I wasn't going to go searching for the study initially. I most likely found the one I was referring to, it links multiple studies around the time I am speaking about and doesn't prove anything because I never said it did. I could link 10+ studies all saying things like that, because that was the narrative at the time. Ultimately most here in this thread(including me) didn't really agree with those studies. I can confidently say the majority scientific consensus (at the time) was that the covid vaccine lessened or prevented transmission. This was the general public opinion. I don't personally believe that was the case because of the variants, but that formed part of the Government policy around that time and the approach they had with the mandates.

Would you agree?
I would agree that you are continuing to post out of your ass in the face of being asked for a source even as you complain about the speck in the eye of those who do source their work.

Source this: "scientific consensus (at the time) was that the covid vaccine lessened or prevented transmission."

If there was scientific consensus then there should be science. Source the scientific study that showed that the Covid vaccine prevented transmission.

I posted what you asked and now I have to post something else? Did you read the studies or their references? There are multiple studies there on covid infection, that reference further studies.
I didn't claim I had a study that said it prevented transmission. I made a comment on the narrative at that time.

If you won't even concede the mainstream scientific consensus at the time was that the vaccine lessened or prevented infection, then what was it?

I am not seeing a reference to a scientific study. Please post the reference again. I posted a link to a scientific study in Post 9883. Please follow that example.

I will discuss scientific consensus after seeing your reference.

Come on mate. It's the war room so a bit of talking shit is expected, but this is just pointless.
You have managed to go back and quote previous posts so you are aware of what I am talking about.

Can you explain why deaths/100,000 pop were twice as high in the US as in Canada if it's not because of our significantly higher vaccination rates?

It would have taken you fewer keystrokes to provide the reference as asked than it took you to accuse me of duplicity.

If it is really too much work for you to cut and paste the reference, please refer me to the post # in which you made the reference or quote it.

For example, I posted a link to a scientific study in Post 9883. Here is the quote of Post 9883:
.
You have sourced nothing for your bullshit.
Tuvali, O et al. The Incidence of Myocarditis and Pericarditis in Post COVID-19 Unvaccinated Patients—A Large Population-Based Study. J. Clin. Med. 2022.
"We did not observe an increased incidence of neither pericarditis nor myocarditis in adult patients recovering from COVID-19 infection."

I am not asking for anything more than the courtesy that I provide to you.

If you would like to discuss this then you are going to need to provide a link to your data (and preferably a quote or image insert of a table if the link contains several pages of text).

I anticipate a discussion of cause-specific mortality, all-cause mortality, and excess death, but we can't have this discussion because you have not shared whether the deaths in question are cause-specific or all-cause, and I would rather just look at the data myself instead of having you describe it for me.

lol so that would be a no then. Go away.

I already posted the study you requested.

I've not been on SDog since Saturday but weren't you saying "you guys should let this thread die"?

Sunday was fucking terrible, I had annoying tickle throat cough which no matter how much you cough you can't get rid of and phlegmy as all fuck chest cough. I threw up probably 25 times between 8am and 11:30pm just as a reaction of that, I didn't even feel nauseous , it was just a reaction to all the coughing. I should have stopped drinking water but you're supposed to stay hydrated so if some of it was staying down then better.

Still coughing up an unholy amount of crap and had to cancel an interview Tuesday because of the cough and talking made me cough even more. Got some minor sinus issues but I'll be back to normal tomorrow.

Sad for husband, he still tested positive this morning taking the test in the hope he could go in and congratulate a kid he's been helping with his grading get his belt but couldn't go in.

I did say that and should, but it did nearly die again. I was hoping @mon might pop in for old times sake.

Hydralte icy poles are the way to go. Much better than water when you are sick.

I'm hoping not to get it again but thanks for the advice. It was only the one day I had that horror go on and day by day getting better. Like I said I should be sorted by the start of NFL on Sunday, it would have been far worse if I was really sick for that and could barely watch it.

I would have thought a cursory 5-second look at the average American's physical health would answer that pretty succinctly

I think if you can hold a company for lability for its products it’s hard to trust them . We still know so little about human bodies and biology, it’s very complicated, it’s not like a smart phone where it sees complex (which it is) we know everything about them and how they work

Seems like people are still posting about getting a cold.
How quaint.
