Watching it now. Damn it’s great. The atomic breath is legit as fuck. That scene in the city was insane. I like that the spikes expand then contract for the breath and it is an absolute OP as hell blast.

Really enjoying the movie and the return to the Godzilla movies I get up with.

I do t even think that’s the best scene of the movie. The scene where he’s flying around the countryside again in that prototype plane looking carefree was the most moving scene of all imo

The visual effects can be pretty inconsistent (some really spotty CGI), but Godzilla looks amazing during the

boat chase scene, especially the regeneration part and then after that when he stands up right before the Takao ship surprise attacks him

The best Godzilla movie. Finished it last night. I split it into two nights. Smoked a bunch in between and well worth it. I saw it with and without subtitles. The cgi on godzilla is the best. Loved the story and redemption of the characters.
