PBP GLORY 99: Last Heavyweight Standing ***Sherdog Discussion*** 4/5 11AM ET (DAZN)

I never saw the entire fight, but I've seen the HL floating around social media. He wasn't expecting it, he can take a shot. These refs should be paid well, a more dangerous profession than people would presume
Here’s the video of Strijkert getting knocked down by Plazibat btw 🤣

Krnjic lost to Alin Nekita, the youngest heavyweight. The funniest thing is Nekita is still undefeated both juniors and seniors. Even Glory said Sarara fight was a rip-off and should have won by KO in R3. But I don't think his place is in the heavyweight division. Too small. And he entered GLORY too early if they don't want to build him at all.

Adegbuyi should have retired years ago. He is now 40 years old.

Ristea also opened Ben Saddik's shin.

The best performers are Iancu, Horta and Cvjeticanin. Laidouni also pretty impressive, changed. Opacic used to be in prime, but he seemed as "old" as Adegbuyi. He lost by brutal KO and extends One Championship's "anonymous" streak of losses in GLORY. Sina from K-1, nothing than a trash talker...

On the undercard no one but Iraj impressed me, but he fought one of his own from ONE. Asdren Gashi was not great. He should have lost to Nidal maybe. Colin George looked better today, it's not an easy task.

Awesome recap. Rade seems to not handle the weight well. He used to be 100 kg and fight vs much shorter guys. Also maybe something wrong with his "chin" that was a bizzare KO.

Cvjeticanin force to do HW for the money but looked very promising in that other organisation, very smart.

That fat guy inspires me. Simply technicaly well and just bounces those shots, Very well done.

So the winner of these 4 4-man tournements will place themself for the final 8 in december. Meaning there are still 4 slots left.

I got:
Horta from group A
Rabazaden from group B
Osaro from C
Azizpour from D

Highlights from Nekita vs Krnjić

Alin comes from Lătescu's hometown (different gym) and is still 21 years old, just like Lătescu was when he debuted and was also the youngest in Glory. The Dutch matchmaker was impressed by his power, but it is believed that he may be better for -95. He was a lumberjack too. The translator is the coach.

Robbie Timmers following Glory 99

Iancu was angry

Underrated Laidouni and his growth

The new Bonjasky (?)

The best Serbian kickboxer
