Shit I forgot this fight was going on and saw the mention too late.. I'm gonna have to try and watch the replay when I get the chance. Damn it..

Bet on him then, for some reason Chico is a 3-to-1 underdog!
If i was a betting man then I might have but I havent seen too much of Chico so im not to
confident.I did see it was a draw so might have to have a rematch and ill watch the fight replay.

@TacticalTijs how was the event live in Rotterdam? The atmosphere etc.?
Felt great to be back. I like these “smaller events” where you get the chance to meet and talk to the fighters. It was a great card with many exciting fights and the crowd was great. Just a shame that many were late for the first two matches. Especially the Hristov-Ciric match was great

I think Mo Touchassie should move away from Mike’s gym to be honest. Mo has great potential to become a complete fighter but I don’t see him develop his full potential at Mike’s gym (other than his boxing maybe). I think ARJ would be a great place for him, potentially SB gym. @BoxerMaurits what do you think?

True. he reminds me of Badr, who changed from this technical fighter he was, to this pumped over-aggressive wild slugger. He did have his succes with that style, but i dont believe it made him a better fighter.

I personally think SB Gym could be a great fit for Touchassie tbh. Said El Badaoui is known for bringing out the best in technical refined fighters. Donegi Abena, for example, has really thrived since moving from Mike’s Gym to SB Gym under Said’s guidance.
On the other side, Serkan Özçağlayan made the switch from SB to Mike’s Gym, which suited his Boxing-heavy style more, so it really depends on specific fighter.

@onne1983 , being part of Gym Haarlem in the Netherlands, most likely knows a thing or two about fighter development, so an interesting take of him

Really true. It depends on the style indeed. i think a fighter like Tayfun would suit Mike's style pretty wel. Pressure fighters. But for instance, a fighter like Petrosyan, elusive, technical, counter style, would never benefit at a gym like that.

Found some highlights of Boapeah vs Touchassie online. This guy is really wroth a follow. Many fight clips.

Well, well, well… what do we have here? :)

Mohammed Touchassie has decided to leave Mike Passenier’s renowned Mike’s Gym to join Said El Badaoui’s team at SB Gym in Utrecht.
A smart career move for Mo?

he should have never left Khalid. But i dont know the relationship there. Khalid is a good gym, but not that big group of pro fighters.
Similar like our gym. But thats why Ibrahim for instance, stays with us, but joins training and sparring at SB gym a few times a week as well.
But some coached have too big of an ego to give their fighters green light to spar at other gyms as well. altough it could be great for their development.
