Well, there was this other guy a few months back (Chad?) and everyone here thought it wouldn't work out, but in the end it did, so I wouldn't put too much stock in our advice: we don't know the woman, we haven't seen how you interact.

I don't know your history, but how about just asking her out on a date? Do it an way that makes it clear you want to go on a "real" date, not a just a friendship thing. Take her to stuff that's romantic and try to push on to the next level. Maybe bring some flowers.
