Yes they would. Honestly, this is a stupid point I hear brought up a lot. Every fight is a risk. Taking an unnecessary risk that basically gives little to no benefit is an easy choice. Fighters not wanting to fight someone they really shouldn't be fighting is not any kind of evidence that they're not sure of themselves.


I'm part of that crowd. It's not cuz I want Khamzat to fail. It's cuz I want to see him beat people who are good. It's the same standard I hold of all fighters. No matter how good someone looks, they still have to show that consistency across levels and time, which earns them the right.

I want to see hype tested and proven, not accelerated based on theory.

Actually it is. Because if you ask for extra terms/money to accept that means you don't view them as a normal challenge. Every fight is a risk yes, but fighters know which fighters are the real risks and which fighters is easy work.

It has nothing to do with what Colby says. Its been established for years that Dustin is naturally a heavy set guy. Weighing between 182-200 pounds when he's not fighting. Colby weighs 183 lbs. Dustin is either the same weight as Colby, but weight bullies in a lighter weight class, or is considerably heavier.

Walk around weight is irrelevant.
Cejudo can walk around 190. It doesn't mean he is the same size as Colby Covington. It simply means he has more fat than Colby.
How much do Colby and Poirier weigh at the same body fat percentage weight.

Idk, I dont see how Burns wins this. Khamzat is much bigger, faster, and more diverse in his attack. Burns got knocked out by dan hooker and dropped by Usmans jab. I think khamzat finishes him in the first round, sending the hype train barreling forward. I think usman and luque will be khamzat's biggest challenges.
