New Ghostbusters Film out in 2020

I never thought the old school Ghostbusters was all that great to begin with, so the apparent 2016 debacle didn't bother me and I won't be seeing this one either

^^Posted just in case anyone was wondering about my take on this critical issue

they should use the pineapple express guys - rogan, franco, hill, robinson ...danny McBride could be the bad guy

that would be hilarious

That would be one of them. They would also need a pregnant illegal immigrant who just made it past the border who can only speak Spanish but is better than anyone at being a ghostbuster and is also a genius. You know, to show us that they are better than us and should all be allowed to come over, illegally of course. (I’m on a bit of a middle ground on the subject, but Hollywood thinks they should all come over because they are just upstanding people who are victims of us, and be given free everything).

The 3rd character needs to be a transgender women who became a man and then became women again since they are superior. So she is a multi transgender.

I'll bet Kristen Wiig doesn't join in. She knows that movie sucked and hasn't talked about it since the press tour.

Only this beast is still bleating about it because it's the only thing anyone was ever dumb enough to hire her for.

Imagine if they made it ten years ago.

Patrice O'Neal, Louis CK, Bill Burr and Nick DiPaolo.

Would have been huge.
Y'all know that Eddie Murphy was supposed to be in the original, right? As funny as he was and these guys are, the tone of the movie would be (have been) off.

Don't worry. Trump is remaking The Disorderlies and he saved a spot for you.

Makes you respect George Clooney for just admitting his Batman movie was a piece of shit and that it would be a bad idea to canonize or continue it.

Remember when Michael Ironside threw a fit about the planet Zeist not being mentioned in Highlander 3? Oh wait...

<{cruzshake}>

Their style is not fit for GB.

I don't see how wanting to go back to the original idea for a GB3 is somehow against women or right-wing

A GB3 has been in the works for 20 years. It's been in development hell etc, etc, now they seem to have people on board with it.

The reboot should never have been made in the first place. It was made in desperation because they couldn't put together a movie with Murray and Ramis

I liked the reboot. Tbh when I first heard about the film I wasn’t interested in seeing it, especially bc it had that Melissa chick in it. I get stuck having to watch all of her films bc my mother picks them out for movie night, and they’re never good and she plays the same bland character in every film.

Then the hate started rolling in so hard for it before it was even released, and I was like ah shit now I HAVE to watch. Lol.

And yeah, I enjoyed it and was happy to buy it on disc first day it was released.

<{clintugh}>

I gave it a chance and there were a laugh or two but ewwww... this movie was terrible...

The writer/director of the upcoming "Ghostbusters" reboot is taking heat on social media for remarks he made that were interpreted by critics as a sexist attack on the 2016 female-led film in the franchise.

Jason Reitman, son of the original "Ghostbusters" writer/director Ivan Reitman, said on a recent episode of the Bill Burr Podcast that he didn’t want to make the “'Juno’ of 'Ghostbusters’ movies” and instead promised a “love letter” to the original franchise.

“I love this franchise. I grew up watching it. I consider myself the first a ‘Ghostbusters’ fan. I was like seven years old when that movie came out and I love it. I want to make a movie for my fellow ‘Ghostbusters’ fans,” Reitman told Burr. “We are, in every way, trying to go back to the original technique and hand the movie back to the fans.”

Those comments were seen by several critics as a jab at the female reboot that starred Kristen Wiig, Mellissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones.

You should read the comments he's getting. Very amusing. Man they will find anything to be outraged about right?

Dance Puppets!

Edit: i dunno, if you guys want to move this to the war room go ahead but I thought it more entertainment than politics.
