Getting Old

I’m 40 and have no problem keeping up with my 33 y/o wife or my 25 y/o girlfriend. Although for sure the recover takes longer for everything at this age. Probably noticed that around mid-late 30s. I’m fatter now also, just easier to gain weight.

I also have sleep apnea and until I got that sorted out I was really tired for a period. If the exhaustion continues maybe get a sleep study done @Dizzy
It’s actually not as bad as it sounds. Like the past two nights I’ve been up til 11:30 or so no problem. I still have energy throughout the day, I just doze off more frequently when I get comfortable on the couch.

I’m suspecting that you may be involved with the devil’s lettuce. If so please take care, we don’t want a fatal pots overdose to claim yet another life.

Also: I’m outta “likes” so I owe you a couple

In my early 30s now and I’m falling asleep as soon as I get comfortable on the couch. I just slept through the entire second half of Escape from New York and it was completely out of my control.

When did you first start feeling old?

Get checked fro sleep apnea. could save your life.

I'm 42 and the last 3 or so years the worst thing I deal with is nose hairs. It's torture. My nose is constantly under a tickle attack. I have sneezing fits that last all day. Every now and then I get lucky and pluck the hair out but it's not as easy as you'd think.

I stopped reading at "early 30s"

pffff

In my 40s now and feel awesome. Recommend everyone go see an endocrinologist and get them to put you on a regiment. Get regular blood panels, eat well and exercise (few heavy lifting days) and then whatever supplemental fun activities you enjoy.

I'm 38.

I've been losing hair at the crown, going grey and I've had issues with a bloodclot and sciatica.

Yeah, last two years, I've felt it.

Also had a picture taken of me and I didn't recognise myself.

While walking in the snow a few weeks ago, I took an awkward step. Now two weeks later, and my back is still killing me. I could barely walk for a few days.

How the F was TB12 winning SuperBowls at age 43?!

Women age their fastest between 50 and 60.
Men between 60 and 70.
I was fine about ageing until i got to 59, then everything started changing, fast!
