I showed my ex bird a couple fights but she wasn't really interested until I showed her Barry/Kongo. That peaked her interest and then after that I showed her some more fights, which you could see she kind of liked. Then I showed her a Jon Jones fight and she loved it and she wanted to see his others, which she loved.

Now we've broken up I doubt she'll ever catch any MMA again though.

2) let her enjoy the story behind the fights, she may be (surprise) interested more on Chael's talk, Paul Harris background or *whatever* than technical stuff
3) try to let her understand what is going on

Explain (and demonstrate) the basic principles of BJJ. Show her less striking heavy fights and more technical battles on the ground. Narrate what is going on with much greater depth than Rogan. Showing her GSP, Pettis, Cruz never hurts.

In general, when you make someone understand the technique involved they come to see MMA in a much more favorable light, gf or no. And family men who talk about their kids never hurts either.
