Well, smart move before the Alzheimers/dementia sets in and he loses worse in the next fight.

Also, LOL at people saying he was distracted as a way of saying Ronda was distracted. Ronda always had shit striking defense. It didn't matter because the other girls pre-loss just didn't have the power to hurt her, were vulnerable to her grappling, and/or had toilet-level fight IQ.

Ronda is a moron in that aspect. Moving her head and feet properly while throwing/taking a punch is too complicated for her. But hey, just keep going with the fantasy that she would have been undefeated minus her poorly acted bit parts.

Smart move, Proper 12 only became relevant because of McGregors platform, I don’t think it’s something that had real longevity in the drinks market, only as long as he’s relevant. Smart to sell it and cash in

It’s made by Bushmills.
Nothing wrong with it at all if you like Irish whisky.

Probably good call, make some good money while the brand is still doing well.

tbh proper 12 is just a run of the mill whiskey. It isn’t awful but there are much better alternatives out there.

Smart, if his aim is to rid himself of as many distractions as possible and prove people wrong about him being passed it in MMA

I have a yearly paycheck of just slightly under 10k$.

Did I manage to make you feel better?:D

No to be honest. I don't feed on other people having less money.

And less money isn't bad if you're cool with it, it's all relative. If you're happy you're happy.

But I do want that Ferrari man, I want at least one in my lifetime, that's what bums me out.

Otherwise I'm pretty satisfied with having just above average money. Just that one Ferrari :)

Sweet deal for him. All he had to do was promote it (and sucker punch an old guy for not drinking it)

Nah, I feel the same, was just a joke ;)

Of course I'm not fine with it but on a more positive note I have a much lower peak to reach, if I want a cozy life.
Instead of 50-100k yearly for a good life in the USA (I'm only assuming, but you get the point), I can aim for like 20k and be happy xD (working on it ;) )

Also, good luck with the Ferrari! ;)

Oh same here, I'm not US either, already at that 50K mark when I only need like 15K, but yeah. That doesn't buy me a supercar. And I'm not the type of person to get off on expensive clothes and other low level rich shit.

And I don't even get off on the "luxury" aspect of the supercar, I just want to know how it feels to own a fucking personal rocketship :D

You can say whatever you want about this guy , but he got the money in a sport where most people just get headaches

No amount of money will make that horse piss enjoyable to drink, IMO.

makes sense, Conor just lost

he doesnt have the negotiating power to have Proper 12 be a big time sponsor to his fights, especially if he losses again

if Becle wants back in the Conor business, they will have to pay up big, if Conor beats Dustin and gets a title shot etc...

Anyone that thinks Conor has cashed out big with this brand knows nothing about business whatsoever.
Clearly it is a failed venture from start to finish and Mcgregor has had no choice but to cut his losses.

I think with a lot of their advertisement away from Conor McGregor got the brand recognition to many without them knowing it's associated with McGregor. They have a lot of promo in a lot of combat sports away from mma and other sports, the people that don't watch mma or follow McGregor like that will not associate the brand with McGregor. It's distributed globally now and if they thought they need McGregor's branding to keep the company successful, they wouldn't have bought him out.

People may not think it's a great product but it's obviously doing well. We'll see in the future if this was a good sell or not. Well it's definitely better for his fighting career since he'll have more free time.
Yet to see any evidence of it doing well.
Has anyone seen it for sale?
Granted I don’t drink but I have been to hundreds of super markets, bars and restaurants since the launch of Proper 12 and never once seen it for sale anywhere.
I’ve seen JD, Jameson, Famous Grouse etc etc as they are truly global brands that are popular all over the world, but Proper 12, no. Nothing.

You dont like Ronda, cool its been 5 years why does she still bother you lol. Go get some air

One of the liquor stores near me used to sell it for $35, now its on sale for $23 or something.
They were really going for it, wherever you are. In my area it's been $23 since it was released.

I get that. But we know it’s not a good product. I’m saying the value is in him pushing the product and not the product. So if he’s not pushing it anymore, I do not really see how it continues to sell well a few years from now
There are likely a large amount of their buyers that do not, and will not, know that Conor is no longer attached to it. A lot of them think he makes it.
