Gerald going to end Khamzat hype

Lool you guys are saying khamzat going to lose to a guy who is 6-5 in ufc?

So basically what you are saying is that Khamzat has hit his ceiling? He has a chance to beat Gerald but after that it’s a hard stop?
No not at all. I'm saying that Damian Maia is a ridiculously hard matchup for a young grappler with barely any high-level MMA experience. Even if he loses to Maia, he could still go on to achieve great things. It's just a very, very tough test for him.

If Pico didn't reach his potential, then we can reasonably conclude that, in reality, his potential wasn't as high as we imagined.
By this logic we can throw 1-0 and 0-0 prospects at Jones, let them get obliterated and maimed and then conclude that well they don't have GOAT potential, no biggie.
Silly. There's a reason why 0-0s fight other 0-0s and not seasoned veterans.

@dragovic stated "Tell me about a few fighters that had "champ potential" but couldn't reach it because they were rushed too soon?" and you replied with "Pico." So, we are obviously not talking about Jon Jones versus 1-0 and 0-0 prospects.

Chimaev is telling us that he is ready for Usman, and the UFC is wasting time throwing rookies at him, and provided strong evidence to support his claim when he SMESHED 2 rookies in less than 2 weeks.

Now, the UFC is throwing more experience at him. If he can't crush guys like Meerschaert and Maia, then it is strong evidence that he may not be ready for Usman.

However, MMAth seldom adds up. So, let us say that Chimaev is not able to pass this test, it won't mean that if he was jumped straight to Usman that he would not beat Usman.

A fighter can lose to a can, and beat a champion. To be a champion, all you have to do is win one fight. Any fighter who is given the opportunity can do this.

>Even if Khamzat wins

Dummy you prob think Khamzat wins easy

I think it's close to an even fight, it could go Khamzat's way

but I think it's a terrible match up for Khamzat, and he could very well lose this.

I bet he prob loses this fight, but it's hard to call cuz we haven't seen a whole lot from Khamzat, so yeah he could win this.

But this is a bad idea, I think.

But if I have to make a call, which would be a tough call, I'd say Gerald beats Khamzat. I think it's a terrible match up and I think Gerald is more proven fighter.

With that said, I think Khamzat has a champ potential. He's pretty good.

But I think UFC is doing this the wrong way. I think it's a mistake, but we will see.

So Khamzat is very good, I like the guy. I think UFC is making a mistake here.

Gerald is extremely tough fight. Khamzat might win, but Gerald has a really good chance at ending the hype train.

Not the fight I would have made, but I guess UFC gonna UFC. But I think this is a mistake on their part.
Lord Khamzat will be fighting for whichever title he wants in 2021.

I guess you were wrong in record time.

Well it's a good thing you're not in charge.
