General MMA discussion and future lines - March 2016

Now I'm going to feel bad if Webb pulls it off!
 
I'm playing golf as normal this weekend, but I always parlay with MMA. I'm way too deep on JDS/Rothwell ITD as that's my parlay fodder. I can't even imagine with next week also being a layoff. The Masters will be on the same weekend which means it's likely I have just as much wagered on golf as MMA which is a scary thought.

I got some money to blow.

265/100 for Soriano

He's a UFC level fighter he just had some some IQ problems. Legit kickboxing and he's got some wrestling.
 
That was one of the most disturbing fights that I've watched.
 
Soriano 10-9 but Webb did reverse him with the armlock attack and get on top briefly.
 
Man, Soriano is fighting like a complete idiot.
 
Soriano shoots from way way too far out and put himself in a disadvantageous position in round 2. Crazy bad fight IQ.
 
Holy Christ, Soriano is breaking mentally just like Pat is saying. 19-19 after two.
 
Soriano is going to lose this. It's 1-1, but his fight IQ isn't going to be there and I think he's going to be gassed.
 
He should honestly win this 3rd round if he doesn't initiate the grappling. I honestly think Webb initiating the grappling will still keep it close. Soriano shooting from way outside is ridiculous.
 
Man, am I an idiot for switching my bet. Webb outwrestled Soriano just like he told Frank Trigg and had more cardio and better fight IQ.
 
And that's the end of Soriano's career. Need Schnell to break even now.
 
If Soriano had any sort of fight IQ, their fight would look like Rd 1 on repeat.

Yeah, after I reconsidered I had thought Soriano's fight IQ may have looked bad against UFC competition but it's just bad period.
 
The funny thing is that Webb looked like shit too. Rd 2 showed just how sloppy his grappling is as well. Prior to this fight, Webb literally only had one finish since March of 2012 and he's fought some bad competition.

It's often the case like that on these AXS TV cards, with both guys fighting sloppy, plus lots of the fighters are part-timers and either fighting on short notice or missed weight or both. It's dog or pass on many of these cards even if you think you know the fighter based on past performances. I should have stuck with my dog action and be done with it.
