Yeah think you're pretty spot on with the round 1 prop. I'd like to play Rumble, hoping his line gets better come fight time, but if odds stay around where they are now i'll be on Glover too.

Did you see my edit? u1.5 is +105. I think that's a gift given how big a favorite Rumble is. Even if Rumble rd 1 is +150 I think I'd rather play the u1.5. Covers Glover winning in rd 1 plus either guy winning in the first half of rd 2. No brainer imo.

i cant knock a play on Glover since Rumble has some flaws to his game that Glover can exploit, but Rumble is gonna be too fast for Glover. IIFC Bader's speed was giving Glover some issues before the KO, i can only imagine what Rumble's gonna do to him

Agreed, and honestly Glover has very specific weapons with his boxing that hes VERY good at but hes not diverse at all. Cross counter and left hook, if you watch Glover he relies on those two things A LOT. But I just can't get behind Rumble at these odds. Glover is tough as shit, has better cardio, might be able to score tds after round 1. He definitely has paths to victory that warrant the lines to be tighter.

For 5-7 minutes Rumble will have the speed edge for sure, agree. He may well get Glover out of there. But Rumble tires after that. Even in the Davis fight where it went the distance and he won, look how much he slowed with his activity. The second half of that fight he was allowed to coast because Davis got frustrated and stopped pressing the action.

So u1.5 at +105 just makes way more sense imo if you like Rumble. Personally I think the value is on Glover surviving early and finishing later. But for sure I'm hitting that u1.5 at +odds.

then why not live bet Glover after the first if that happens? I think there's very little chance that Glover wins the fight in the first round so imo your u1.5 bet is basically a Rumble u1.5 bet, which is a lot cheaper than Rumble SU, so there's that, but I'd rather just throw a bet on Rumble wins in round 1 or rumble itd (idk what the lines on those would be but im just speculating that they'd be pretty close or better than the under)

Nah I think Glover could win in early for sure. It's not like he doesn't have stopping power. For sure the first half of the fight I'd favor Rumble, but not by a gigantic margin. And honestly, with Rumble's ML at -250 right now, I am guessing his rd 1 line isn't gonna be that much better than the u1.5 (if at all). At BEST maybe +150? Possibly down at +120 or so. I think this u1.5 is gonna get a LOT worse if Rumble stays this big a favorite. My guess is that by fight time if Rumble is -250 the u1.5 is gonna be -140 or so.

Plus the weekend of 202 I am heading to a guys weekend with a bunch of high school buddies. Which means we need to find a bar in that area showing the fights (I think I found one possibly already thank God) but also that live betting from my phone after drinking and gambling for 2 straight days might be a bad idea. I may just decide to ride with my pre bet fights that weekend LOL.

Yeah i'd prob guess the round 1 bet would be around +150 like you said. But i still dont think its likely at all that Glover wins the fight early; Johnson has never had issues w his chin and is an absolute juggernaut when he's fresh. He's gonna have a significant speed advantage too so i think a Glover takedown isn't gonna come early. Not sure how I'm gonna bet it but I'm def not opposed to playing Rumble SU if it drops back down to the -220 range

Hall the favourite?! Gtfo Brunson will be the fav. If the Brazilian whose name escapes me can wrestle Hall then Brunson sure can.

I feel like you're thinking of Natal, but if i'm not mistaken there wasn't much wrestling. They had a staring contest where Natal landed a few more strikes than Hall leading to a decision.

Lines will be interesting though, feel like they'll be pretty close to pick em.

Literally because of sheer laziness by Hall too. If that guy wanted to he'd be one of the better strikers in MMA but he's a flake, gets lazy and caught up in being flashy vs effective, and has rounds where his volume is embarrassingly low.

Had he put in even a lackluster amount of effort he could have beaten Natal. I didn't bet on him in that fight, but I remember thinking that if I had it's probably about as mad as I'd ever get at a guy who I lost betting on. All he literally had to do was SORT OF try and he'd have beaten Natal.

I remember Natal getting at least one takedown. I had money on Hall never again. He is getting overrated by people for a fluke win over Mousasi. Remember guys Mousasi was wrestlefucking him Halls td defence sucks. If Brunson is the dog i will fuckin smash that line.

Yeah that fight was when i'd bet leisurely before posting in this section, and I fucking hammered Hall. Needless to say it almost made me want to never bet again lol incredibly frustrating to watch

Man, I like Brunson and I can understand taking a shot with him at + money. But Hall could EASILY exploit his biggest weakness, which is keeping his chin high as the sky when he comes in with those bull rushes. Hall is best countering, and is definitely fleet footed enough to angle off and touch Brunson's chin when he goes into beast mode like he always does now lol. On a confidence increasing note, when Werdum lost to Stipe, Brunson posted something on social media along the lines of 'Werdum reminded me how important it is to fix that hole in my game' lol

Yeah that is true but hall is so inactive and overly relies on low % moves id take my chances with Brunson. If he can take Romero down over and over Hall going down too.

Condit-Maia moved to main event in UFC Vancouver. Now a 5 round fight so Condit has a HUGE advantage. Smashing him at dog odds before he shifts to favorite.

Man I was just thinking earlier today when reading the Maia vs Condit discussion how bad I wish it was 5 rounds, and the wish has been granted!!!!

Maia vs Condit is off of 202, and now main events next months Fox show!!! Awesome!

Call me crazy, but I'm gonna play Condit to win in 3, 4, and 5 pretty heavy. I just can't see Maia, who is prone to gassing, not getting laid out in the championship rounds.

I agree, it's a gift. I've gone 5 units deep on Condit straight before his line gets smashed and he goes around -170 minimum. I will also play rounds 3, 4 and 5 small too.
