General Gaming Discussion, v3

I just started the Borderlands Presequel. The air and low gravity stuff is super annoying. I'm about ready to give up on the game.

I got through MW 1&2 and have enjoyed the story so far. I miss the controller support though.

In a press release detailing their E3 2015 lineup of titles, Capcom confirmed that the Mega Man Legacy Collection is releasing digitally in Summer 2015 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC at $14.99, with a 3DS launch happening in Winter 2015.

Very cool, will be buying.

3DS and no WiiU, bummer, but I still have all the originals as well as the Gamecube legacy collections.

You're out of your mind. The jetpacks are the best part of the game.

just finished mass effect 3 and was wondering afterwards...wtf was the big deal about the ending? did ppl want the "and they lived happily ever after" type of closure?

I think people wanted thousands of endings where each little decision you made along the way was mentioned in it. At least that's what it sounds like when people whine about it. I for one though the ending was fine.

Just picked up Heavy Rain for the ps3 from the pawn shop the other day. I saw it was 2010 game of the year, and something unlike anything I've ever played before. Anybody here beat it and like it, or dislike it?

I really enjoyed it for about 5 hours because of its unique game play style. After that I lost all interest in it and never want back. The story was ok but it was too much interactive movie and not enough game play for me and I LOVE Naughty Dog games. Also prepare for the single worst walking controls in the history of gaming. It makes the tank controls of the PS1 era feel like Assassins Creed in comparison.

They hyped it up that there would be a ton of multiple endings based on your decisions, but there were just 3 already pre-determined endings once you click how you want to end it lol. Still a great game tho.

I tried the demo. I got the fat cop to squeeze past a dumpster and then he pulled his inhaler out... Nope.

After quite enjoying Fahrenheit until the game went to shit near the end, I was really disappointed that they'd gone even further down the QTE path. Can't stand that shit.

I remember one of the Bioware dudes trying to justify it and using bespoke in place of generic. Whoops.

going back and trying to platinum some games i just beat the story in. I know not many if any actually care about the trophies on sony but eh gives me more to do while i wait for some of the new ps4 games coming out.

I just did that with Deus Ex. Well, the 360 equivalent, anyway, since my PS3 is still dead. Only needed the hard playthrough one to finish it off. I'd already made one attempt at it a couple of years ago, but the achievement never popped, so I decided it could fuck off. Finally got it, only four years after getting the game...

That's one i have to go back and actually redo. Guess i forgot to back up the data when i swapped hard drives. Luckily i enjoyed the game so it won't be too much of a hassle.

Yeah, I had little problem replaying it. Craptastic bosses aside (and I refuse to pay for the reissue) it was a great game. Made sure I had no other saves that could cause an issue with the difficulty setting, and off I went. Never did play full-on action though. Even on my lethal play, I was sneaky stabby and silenced guns.

The problem was that in the lead up they go "there will be multiple endings and it won't be an A, B, or C type choice"

And that's what we fucking got.

Human Revolution was like the one game I tried getting 100% achievements on. But even though I have two completely spotless playthroughs I could never get the 'trigger no alarms' shit. Has to be glitched
