That's one thing I hate about GTA. I realize it would be impossible to have all the skyscrapers be open, but there are hardly any buildings at all to go into. Why can't I shoot an office full of people? It would be fun. Really kills those games for me. The latest GTA had a great story, but once you beat it, the game takes a shit and i got bored of it in like a day. Still a great game, just so damn boring if you aren't doing missions.

On another note, the next game I was going to play was Radiant Historia, but after listening to some katethegreat19 I want to play Chrono Trigger (which I've been meaning to play forever). I'm a sucker for katethegreat19's music. Always makes me want to go adventure.

 
Graphics sell, the same game with a few improvements plus much improved graphics sells.

They could absolutely make a San Andreas/Liberty City with enterable buildings, but it would look like shit and so wouldn't sell.

Or it would be a third of the size, and come off as a mobile game that got upgraded.
 
Just finished lucious 2. Holy shit it is so bad compared to the first one. Had a slight break from pillars of eternity, might get back into that.
 
Not impressed by the new AC showing at all. Setting is cool but the few gameplay tweaks they made are for the worse, imo. And this is coming from a guy who liked Unity quite a bit.

I bought all these PSN Flash Sale games and haven't downloaded a single one. Now I know how Steam users feel.
 
What's ARMA 3's SP campaign like?

I loved the Operation Flashpoint campaigns. They were tight and well paced and full of drama, but ARMA2's campaign was bland and empty, with too much distance to cover and time spent dicking around the map. Then it introduced base building/management and I had to stop
 
Yeah it's story driven missions, it's good imo. You're never doing base building or go beyond commanding like 7 guys. Most if it you're alone.

Is Dying Light getting a sequel, and when it comes to mods, which mods would you recommend for it? & it's true, try Skyrim with mods & the only way you go Vanilla is on consoles with friends + screw the Mod team that quit updating Skyrim Online to the point of death. Undisputed 3 didn't deserve getting picked on, it did for it's graphics though.
 
I'm about ready to buy the whole COD series, is there any that I should avoid? I'm buying them for the campaigns only.
 
I am in the minority but I did not like the Black Ops campaigns. Enough people did like them that you should probably give them a go. The Ghosts campaign was fucking terrible. The plot was horrible, the gameplay was just stupid, and they utterly fail to make you care about ANY of the characters. Oh, and the ending is fucking stupid too.

There are missions from MW3's campaign that I like to go back and play now and then and I know a lot of people that hated that campaign - I liked it okay, but it's not like it's unbelievably awesome.

MW3 is the only one I've played and I liked it. I ended up ordering everything up until Ghosts for PC. I figured all that should keep me busy for awhile and by that time the prices should drop for Ghosts and newer.
 
Currently playing re3 on the old psp. Forgot how great this game is, graphics aren't top notch but i can overlook that.

Speaking of re, anyone ever read the books?
 
I did read some of the Resident Evil books. They were mostly garbage. I might still have some of them, if not they're at the local used book store. Mostly I remember a doctor getting infected by scratching at the corner of her eye.

Edit: Just searched my bookshelf and don't have the books anymore, unless they're somewhere else which is unlikely. Did find my Gotrek & Felix omnibuses though, woot!

the only one i've read/heard was the umbrella conspiracies, i enjoyed it. Was the only one i found on audiobook, prefer audiobooks as i have a long drive to and from work.
