The gif tells it all. TJ lands the same counter 3 times, while each time getting his hands back to defensive positions after each one, garbrandt fans on pretty much everything while never protecting his chin. Cody has good offense, but he's lacking when his speed can't get him out of the way of things.

Agree though it could have easily been 1 to 1 if the bell didnt save TJ.

But still ...basically TJ got another chance and he took Cody out now teice.

He rocked TJ but aside from that one punch cody looked pretty limited when TJ was forcing him to lead, Tj seemed to get a little over aggresive probably wanting to end the round strong. Start of round 2 Tj made the proper adjustments and continued to figure out cody's defence leading to the finish.

Possible but he wasn't just slightly rocked ... he was on wobbly legs walking back to his corner.

Which means if there was 5 to 10 more seconds in that round, he might have been finished.

Punchers chance maybe ... but he did rock TJ badly and the bell sounded right after getting hit.
