A couple things I hope/think DL should do. Watch old Randy Couture fights, If the potential arises, put him on the cage, beat him up, Look for single collar ties and clinching. Work on offensive wrestling. Yes I realize he isn't a DC level wrestler, However Gane isn't a DL level wrestler. And he will have to push the pace. Cardio could make or break this fight for him.

Everything I've seen Lewis post recently on social media would suggest cardio is a major factor for this fight camp. He's putting in the work. And he's won fights with wrestling before, both in the open as well as the clinch. I think if he's able to grab a hold of Gane, the fight will be over soon after.

Because the second, nope. No one has been able to, and Lewis is just physically that much stronger than anyone, ever, as far as I can tell (just his ability to stand back up whenever he feels like it, is insane).

It will be interesting, because "hot balls" Lewis would be a pretty easy fighter for Gane to manage. The current Lewis, with at least acceptable cardio that he's been showing, is a lot harder to keep off you, because he has the energy to chase.

Fighting Lewis is like playing video game on hard difficulty, he's a snake and has killer instinct, he's fast for a big guy and he has good timing also a KO power capable of sleeping a horse.

if you make a minimum error of 0.1s against this monster you are dead, even the best fighters can make a mistake and Gane can lose this fight.

Lewis will just sit there and wait for Gane to pepper him with little jabs and tapping low kicks. Eventually Lewis will load up and either miss or catch Gane.
Gane by boring decision or Lewis by violent TKO from a counter overhand and ground and pound.

This fight will drop Gane's stock even if he wins. He isn't going to commit to the fight and Lewis will make him pay if he does.
Lose/Lose for everyone to be honest and you had your next title shots lined up for the winner of Francis?Lewis with Jones hopefully ready or fighting Stipe in the meantime for the next.

I could see Gane getting a patient tko like Hunt did, or possibly an early tko from body kicks & follow up shots like Volkov nearly did. Blaydes was his way to winning a tko with lowkicks if he stuck with them.

Lewis has very good chin but is easily hurt to the body & doesn't check lowkicks.

Gane is just way too technical and careful, hes going to be waiting for the whole fight for the Lewis bomb and should avoid them with ease. It's heavyweight though so Lewis has a slim, punchers chance.

Cyril will make a gameplan of attacking the legs and body from both stances. It's crazy seeing a HW like Gane who can move that well + fight well out of both stances.

Lewis is a lot better than most think but I think this match up is too much for him, Cyril is too unique of a challenge for most of these HW's.
