Gane will control the sloppy Lewis with ease

Pretty sure
Sensei Lopez even helped N'Gannou get his mojo back after the student criticized the master after losing to Stipe Miocic, and moved from Las Vegas Xtreme Couture back to France to get back to the basics after the disaster that was the Derrick Lewis fight,
No after losing to Stipe he went to Syndicate MMA.

After losing to Lewis, he started training at Xtreme Couture, but did his camps in Paris for his next 2 fights.
Once he established a good relationship with Eric Nicksick, he gave him a chance and had a lot of success with him.

It's a pretty one sided drama, Ngannou never said anything negative in public about his former coach and gym.

Win Win Win scenario as far as I'm concerned, BB, Gane, Ngannou, all great hw material, would love for any of those guys to be champ.

No wonder Lewis is hard to ko. His head is the size of a Volkswagen Jetta.

Is it me or is Gane's right quadriceps almost twice as big as his left?

I expect Gane to beat BB and Ngannou. But lets not act like that lazzy fat ass BB doesn't stand a KO chance.

We here that all the time about Lewis though (and I often agree).

And yet here he is, tied for most KO wins in UFC history...

It only takes one shot but yeah Lewis has struggled vs technical kickboxers &/or rangy guys; JDS, Hunt, & Mittrione stopping him, as well as Volkov, Browne, & Blaydes being dominant before getting slept via defensive irresponsibility.

Gane is definitely more defensively sound than any of Lewis previous opponents. Jabs, teeps, & lowkicks are Lewis's kryptonite & Gane has them in spades.

Anything can happen at HW though.
Good analysis. I think Gane is going to teep / liver shot Lewis from range en route to a decision win.

Gane will make it look easy, how this greek god:

Can loose to

LEWIS_DERRICK_L_02-08.png

it's not about body shaming at all, its just that its Not the same A-level type shit athlete here, Gane is too skilled, trained, athletic, defensive and cautious to get caught by a Lewis bomb

Gane bless, 10-0, and new
That’s racist.

I hope one gets injured I want see Francis against both theybkilling two contenders beast already earned the shot gane was next in line

Ciryl must win this one, so we can get Gane vs N'Gannou. Current MMA Factory vs Former MMA Factory.
The student who abandoned Fernand Lopez when he made it to the top, and the student who shall forever honor his sensei.
The match that will turn France into a nation of MMA enthusiasts!

As of today, the French love their Judo, Muay Thai and Kickboxing, but much like Ireland before Conor McGregor made it big, MMA is dead there.
Now that the ban is lifted, time for my HW dream match to be reach concretion!

VS

Main event for UFC Paris?
Bellator has already produced their first event there, and did pretty damn good.

If the card is cool, it could bring a new market to the UFC...
Get Tom "Fire Kid" Duquesnoy to come back for one fight, same for Cyril "Da Snake" Diabaté! (too bad Bisping is too banged up for a rematchn their first fight was tight... a Shogun rematch could be cool too, but I, I just want Mauricio to retire, that loss to Paul Craig was depressing to watch :( )

Cédric "Le Meilleur" Doumbé , currently n°1 WW in the world, current GLORY ww champ, and one of the best p4p kickboxers out there, has been talking about getting into MMA for years now.
What better occasion than the first UFC card in France?
Okay, okay, I'm getting carried away because no way would he ever give up on kickboxing, if he gets into MMA it will be with an org that lets him do some "French Boxing" on the side.

A MMA rematch against his fellow French rival Jimmy "Le Guépard" Vienot, who was the 4th Frenchie to win the Lumpinee belt (at 160lbs) would be so sick.
After their GLORY bout, many said that Jimmy would have kicked his ass under Muay Thai rules, and that may be the case...
In MMA though?

Since I'm going full fantasy match-ups, why not have GSP do an exhibition grappling bout against Khabib before the main event, now that would be crazy! I've often said that this could be a solution to all their problems;
No weight class, no perfect record on the line so no danger for Khabib's legacy, just a sweet submission grappling bout between Khabib, who always wanted to fight his father's favorite fighter, and St-Pierre, who has often said that if he were to come back, it would only be for The Eagle...

And GSP is still training hard all the time, he's an extremely competitive guy, he would be glad to be able to do that without killing himself to make 155.

Or fuck it, throw in 10 times Olympic Gold Medalist Teddy "Bear" Riner against GSP in an openweight, amateur exhibition MMA bout with very limite striking, that would be so cool!
GSP always talks about how great Teddy is, and how successful he would have been in MMA had he started training early...

Another victim of the French Judo Federation corruption & anti-MMA stance <DCrying>

So yeah, Gane>Lewis.
Too bad Gane is such a huge favorite,

I was thinking of putting something on him, but
1) I'd need to put too much to make a profit
2) it's the riskiest division, one punch and you can be out
3) with the referees consistently fucking things up right now, it's way too risky to bet on MMA anyway.
What are your thoughts on Marcel Cerdan?

Physique doesn't matter much at HW the GOAT HW had a physique more like Lewis' than Gane. I think Gane will win but it has nothing to do with how either of them look.

Interesting to note that anytime Lewis has fought a HW who wasn't afraid to take his head off he has gotten starched, Hunt, Dos Santos, Mitrione etc, Lewis is great when the other guy plays it safe and he eventually lands a big shot but when someone takes it too him he folds like a lawn chair, call me nuts but Lewis vs Tuivasa would be the funnest fight ever

Gane has 25 minutes to not make a mistake and that’s a long time. I think Lewis KO’s him.

A couple things I hope/think DL should do. Watch old Randy Couture fights, If the potential arises, put him on the cage, beat him up, Look for single collar ties and clinching. Work on offensive wrestling. Yes I realize he isn't a DC level wrestler, However Gane isn't a DL level wrestler. And he will have to push the pace. Cardio could make or break this fight for him.

What are your thoughts on Marcel Cerdan?
I'd keep an eye on this promising youngin'
Mark my words, Le bombardier marocain will do some great things at MW!

But seriously, if you're not specific I'm going to write another novel :D
I'd recommend the movie "L'homme aux mains d'argile" (1949) by Léon Mathot to anyone who wants to know more about Cerdan (who plays himself in it)
