News Gamrot stepping in to fight Jalin Turner

So Gamrot won round one and lost the next two.

Turner has looked like a beast but he hasn’t been fighting guys who will look to and be able to put him on his back.

Gamrot is coming off a loss in which he got outclassed. Defending his #7 ranking against #10 is perfectly reasonable, especially considering #10 is on a 5-fight winning streak (all finishes).

He did not get out classed, he lost a competitive decision to the #1 contender.

Its a bad look to constantly state everything in superlatives. He lost 10-9 rounds with a good amount of action from both guys. No one was out classed or dominated.

Otherwise agree that #7 vs #10 is reasonable enough, its just hilarious its always guys like Gamrot having to take the win streak rising talent as opposed to the guys hanging out in the top 5.

Turner win this. He is a dark horse in this division.

Hell yeah. Good fight, I think Gamrot makes Turner miserable with his wrestling for a convincing UD.

You're telling me UFC 285 is

Jones vs Gane
Shavkat vs Neal
Du Plessis vs Brunson
Turner vs Gamrot

And we get to see Bo Nickal, Ribovics and Saaiman in showcase fights? Pretty damn fun card.
Superb PPV, I'm hyped. It's puts Saturdays PPV to shame. So many fights I'm hyped about on one card which doesn't happen often enough these days.

And we give Benny the loser and say "i know i already said this last time, but this time it's for real buddy, if you win, i promise you get the title shot !"
I said the #1 contender for NEXT year. Benny should be fighting Islam THIS year. Get your reading comprehension skills up.

I'd say it's a good card, some of the non main card fights could be a little more competitive and meaningful. I also dont care about the woman's title fight. Still 7/10.
I don't care about the main event. So 3/10

So Gamrot won round one and lost the next two. It was pretty competitive and he can only grow up from this experience.

This short notice fight is a great one. Turner will be so much bigger, lol. His length will provide a challenge for Gamrot, but my money is on the Pole.

Yep, one of the three judges agrees with me, but also almost 78% of people voting on MMA Decisions.

Eh, I think Gamrot's wrestling was overvalued in that first round personally. He didn't really accomplish anything with it except land a few punches on clinch breaks against the fence. That was his only meaningful offense of the round. Conversely, Dariush was handing heavy low kicks that visibly affected Gamrot, a decent body kick or two, and intercepting knee during a TD attempt and he also busted open Gamer's ear and caused him to bleed. I think you have to favor him on impactful striking, especially when you consider that Dariush wasn't really being "controlled" on the ground because he was constantly scrambling or threatening submissions, so those positions were at best neutral a lot of the time if not potentially dangerous for Mateusz here and there.

I'm admittedly a Benny fan, though.
