News Gamrot stepping in to fight Jalin Turner

Wow.. A much better fight we got with the replacement.
This is way more rewarding and a harder fight for Turner, big step up and we'll have to see if his wrestling has improved here since Gamrot is definitely going to test it.

Good fight...not sure how Gamrot deals with short notice...he might gas...

Let's see what Jalin has learned since getting grappled to a decision by Matt Frevola. If Turner can stop the wrestling of Gamrot we've got a real badass on our hands and if he can't, well Gamrot is a beast and Jalin can continue to improve and focus on his holes.

Great fight.
this!

I remember fight being pretty competitive, Beneil won but gamrot put up a fight
Gamrot came out very aggressive in Rd 1 and scored takedowns, but Dariush ended up using his BJJ to neutralize Gamrot on the ground. Then Dariush took over in Rd 2. He put on a clinic defending takedowns and picked Gamrot apart on the feet. Rd 3 was more of the same and included a big knockdown for Dariush.

USA USA USA

War Jalin. Represent Ol Glory ™. Year of the spider?1??1??1?

i like gamrots style. no rank squatting here.

not a bad move. he can definitely win and jalin has alot of hype behind him.

Yep if Gamrot can work on his striking he is trouble for anyone.

You're telling me UFC 285 is

Jones vs Gane
Shavkat vs Neal
Du Plessis vs Brunson
Turner vs Gamrot

And we get to see Bo Nickal, Ribovics and Saaiman in showcase fights? Pretty damn fun card.
I thought Neal was out?

Gamrot is a legit takedown attempt spammer. It's kinda sad to watch when he can't get his takedowns.

I doubt Gamrot ever gasses, the guy trains like a freak and hopefully he's made some improvements from the Beneil fight.

Jailin might get outhustled and outwrestled here. He has improved marginally in the grappling department since the Frevola fight, but no one has meaningfully tested him there since then. I know Hooker shoots pretty regularly when fighting fellow strikers, but he's still a kickboxer at heart. Altering your camp to fight one of the wrassliest wrasslers at 155 on short notice might be too big an ask.

Mateusz is also super difficult to finish and has legit five-round cardio.

So Gamrot won round one and lost the next two. It was pretty competitive and he can only grow up from this experience.

This short notice fight is a great one. Turner will be so much bigger, lol. His length will provide a challenge for Gamrot, but my money is on the Pole.
