Media Gaethje v Fiziev 2 set for UFC 313

First fight was fun, not only that Fiziev technically outstruck Gaethje 2/3 rounds and dominate most of the 1st half until he gassed. No one really brings up how close it was. Fiziev doesn't have a name and is another rematch at LW, but probably best UFC could do.

He said he was promised a TS with a win over Hooker....can't imagine him fighting a guy ranked 8 spots behind him, again, and not be rewarded and offered something big in exchange. He's #3.

I'm fine with Gaethje getting a title shot off 1 win given the mess the division is at the moment. Though it is kind of weird to promise a title shot to a guy last seen face down on the mat out fucking cold.

Glad to see Fiziev back in action, but not running it back against Justin. Would have preferred a fresh matchup for Justin, like Jalin Turner. or Moicano. Would have preferred Fiziev welcome Ilia to LW.

Wonder how the short notice weight cut will treat fiziev. He's a thick dude, and has had cardio issues in recent fights. Their first fight was a lot of fun at the very least. Fiziev looked to be definitely the better technique and speed fighter. But Justin's better cardio and veteran savy to alter his combos to attrition out the win was a great adjustment
