News Gable Steveson Goes 2-0 W/ QUICK KO - Future HW Champ?!

As long as his chin is solid he can panic shoot and avoid getting finished against all but the top 4 guys tbh.

Given how they picked up Hamdy, Gimenis and that polish can that just lost we might see Gable in the prelims by february honestly.

It will be tough for gable to keep getting fights after this, he’s definitely gonna get picked up by the ufc early like Cain was

Brock was signed to the UFC and put in with friggin Frank Mir at 1-0, this guy is now 2-0, 1-0 dirty boxing, younger than Brock was, much more accomplished in wrestling and has much better striking.

No need to waste time, just get him in there with Derrick Lewis now then if he wins give him a shot against the Tom/Gane 2 winner. Why the fuck not? its a dead division with no real contenders.

His opponents:
a) a guy who was 1-0 in MMA. His only opponent had a 0-4 record
b) a guy who was 2-1 in MMA. His wins had a 4-7 record

Impressive as fuck

I remember when some sherdoggers called Greg Hardy a freak athlete, A-class phenom, because he beat 5 cans in the 1st round.

He should make quick turnarounds to pad his record seeing he is so much more athletic.

Being a freak athlete doesn't automatically make you good at a sport.
This. He is a freak athlete but he's an odd size for a football player that doesn't fit into the mold of any position. Combine that with never having played, not knowing what he's doing, and not being particularly motivated, he's not in the NFL lol.

Gable Stevenson is what it looks like when an elite American athlete choose MMA.

We could really dominate the entire sport if we didn't have so many options for our elite young athletes. Stevenson will walk thru the HW division.
do you mean elite athletes for heavyweights? There are plenty of NCAA wrestlers who have fought in MMA.

I dont get the American thing either. American athletes go into other sports? Isnt' that true of literally every country? MMA is not a mainstream sport anywhere. You make it seem like the best athletes in a 200 million populated country like Brazil are begging to get into the UFC instead of soccer which they dominate.

Lewis right off the bat? I’d say give him Spivac, that’d be a decent first test

I mean Brock lost that fight, so I'm not sure if that's the best example. Also, Brock was put there because he was a guy who headlined Wrestlemanias while Gable couldnt even get anywhere in developmental, ie, Brock Lesnar was a draw, Gable isn't.

Brock was never the best or that close to it, he was a name. Gable fighting Lewis in his third fight sounds like a terrible idea for his career. Literally the only way he loses is by getting flatlined, which is not that unlikely.

We've already seen this year a few world class wrestlers lose in the UFC when they stepped up in competition. Why be impatient?

If You watch the video closely you can see that Gable throws a punch but he didn´t expect it to flat out KO the opponent and follows throw with a takedown he had planned before he threw the punch.

Just weird sequences and reminds me of that time when Diego Lopes KO´ed Ortega but woke him up with the following punch

Clearly an astute young man. This was an obvious tribute to fellow USA Olympian turned MMA icon, Dan Henderson

That's gotta be rarer than gogoplatas

TLDW= he's a rapist

Why you gotta bring up ol' shit?

You're not wrong, but Tyson, Conor, our boss guy on that list-file thing...

You gotta admit, even broke grapers get away with that shit, let alone rich and famous people.
Tyson did time for refusing to plead Guilty in exchange for no prison. We still revere him unconditionally, there's no yt expose capable of fixing this particular issuue, you're gonna keep coming up snake eyes on that

throwing a shot after a punch is pretty common for wrestlers in MMA dude. Like, that's one of the first things new fighters do in part to avoid getting hit back.

it just happened his punch ko'd the guy
