Season 1 was amazing. Season 2 just had too much going on and a lot of it wasn't necessary. Their lone wolf badass Indian character motivations were just unsatisfactory at the end. Didn't hold a candle to Billy Bob Thorntons character. The regular person creating a shitstorm character was better played by Martin Freeman than Kirsten Dunst as well...though Dunst was a bright spot.

I loooooooooved both seasons but I actually enjoyed the 2nd more. I thought the supporting cast was much better and had some really quality character types. Plus the spoilery subplot that I won't mention was completely unexpected and well done I thought. No other show would even try to attempt that and be able to pull it off.

I'm the opposite -didn't care for season 1 and thought season 2 was fantastic. Especially the use of the soundtrack.

Looking forward to season 3 but I'm apprehensive as well. The cast looks great so far.

I must say, the makeup and special effect people did a wonderful job. If he wasn’t playing the fit twin at the same time, I would’ve sworn Ewan McGregor really put on all that weight to play the fuckup brother. It looks very convincing.

Yes it's like True Detective in the sense that each season of Fargo has a different cast and story so far.

But unlike True Detective, Fargo's season 2 does not suck.

I tried to make myself believe that season 2 wasn't that bad and that by the end it would all play out well and make sense.... WRONG.

What a pile of shit. I'll only watch TD season 3 if others recommend it highly.

Fargo, however, has been great. Every single episode has been quality.
